Great place to stay in Ella
Pros:

I had a wonderful stay at Ella Mountain Inn. The owner is so sweet and will do everything he can to make sure you are comfortable. He dropped off my laundry for me and returned it again in the evening. The room is very simple with a shared bathroom and hot water. It is located a bit away from the center, about a 20-30 min walk (you can cut through behind the railway station). However, I actually ended up enjoying the walk back after having dinner

Cons:

The WiFi wasn’t always the best, especially in the evening. Sometimes my mobile data didn’t even work

Pros:

The host was really helpful. They accepted me when I arrived in Ella at 4am. The room is comfortable with hot water. Nice view as well.

They have a shop as well if you need anything.

Rare hospitality
Pros:

In the nature, 20 min walking from the 9 arches bridge, 10 min by tuk tuk from the center. The owner has a shop and can provide you with anything you need. Incredible kindness and hospitality. Silence, which in Ella is rare. Of course you get what you paid for, so do not expect luxury.

Cosy jungle retreat with wonderful views
Pros:

I had a great stay at Ella Mountain Inn. The rooms are basic and clean, with a shared balcony that has wonderful views of the jungle. The hotel is a bit away from the town of Ella, which is perfect for people seeking solitude and nature. The nights are quiet, filled only with the sounds of insects and animals, and occasional Buddhist chanting. The breakfast is abundant and varied, can also be adjusted to suit your needs and price range. The owners are extremely friendly and helpful. I'd stay there again.

Pros:

The room was comfortable and clean.
The host was absolutely amazing, helped us with everything we needed even if he didn’t speak too much english. We communicated with the translator which was perfectly fine.
I would really recommend to stay here, it’s a bit out of town but really chill place, surrounded by nature
