Everything clean and tidy. Staff very friendly and welcoming.
Window was covered so no view outside. With our dinner we asked for the salad to contain no tomato due to an allergy. It arrived with tomato and when we asked for it to be changed, our meal came back with no salad whatsoever. Obviously a prepared or pre bought salad. Breakfast though plenty of options was not very hot.
Decor and room was nice. Easy to use the pool and the jacuzzi was lovely
Dussappointed with restaurant staff. Made to wait to be seated and they prioritised bar guests despite knowing we were waiting to be seated. Food was a while despite it not being that busy. Staff didn’t check on us even when we stacked our plates they prioritised clearing empty tables. In the end we ordered our deserts at the bar. Felt service was quite poor
Our stay was perfect .Staff were very helpful
Nothing
The hotel and facilities were great just need a few sun beds around the pool to relax but not much space to work with around the pool.
The swimming lessons wasn’t explained before booking and not able to have full pool access.
Everything
Nothing
This was a fantastic stay goregous hotel. I must say for a hotel this was the BEST ! most comfortable bed usually beds are firm but this was so soft you sank into the bed ! least to say i had a great sleep.
great size room clean. breakfast was superb. they had a dedicated table for gluten / dairy free for people with allergies. staff was super friendly. lovely quick check in and out. i would stay here again , spa was lovely too
the only thing i could say was the pyramid spa was pre occupied with children’s swimming classes throughout the day and it’s getting over crowded for hotel guests plus wishing for a relaxing peaceful spa time.
The location was good, was very clean, friendly staff and the breakfast was very good.
I did not like that they take a £50 per room deposit upon arrival, although it is refused after your stay.
Staff, cleanliness
Nothing to say negative
The staff were amazing and very helpful
There was only one staff at the restaurant trying to cover receiving guests and replacing food options at the same time, maybe 2 members of staff would've helped as guests sometimes had to wait for a little longer than needed
The location is great, although pedestrian access from St Helens Central Station is a little awkward. The room was good. I appreciated that the amenity tray included decaf coffee sachets. The bed was comfortable, the shower was hot with good pressure, and the WiFi worked well. I was pleased that the breakfast buffet was open from 7am, since I like to get an early start.
Openable windows would have been nice. At breakfast I stood waiting a full ten minutes before a staff member came to take my room number and invite me to take a table. The hotel policy of taking a separate £50 damage deposit adds friction to the checkin process.
