Warm and cozy
Pros:

Large room with very comfy bed

Cons:

No bedside lamp for lower lighting although light switch was next to the bed. The net curtains are absolutely filthy and need a good wash however, the cleanliness of the rest of the room was great!

Great value, nice hotel and so central
Pros:

Very handy for Tivoli Theatre and shopping

Cons:

Pillows too hard, no bedside lamps and room was cold even though the radiators were on, think the widows could do with being double glazed

Nice place overall, if I had stayed longer I would have certainly requested better pillows.
Pros:

Nice hotel. Great location, near train and bus station and loads of places to shop and eat and close to the high street. The front desk staff was very pleasant. They allowed me to leave my baggage before I checked in and then allowed me to leave it again after I check out. It has a restaurant. I did not try it, but might do so if I stay there again.

Cons:

The bed was so lumpy, zero support, my body sunk into the mattress no matter how I laid on the bed (and no, I am not obese). I felt constantly like I was going to fall off the bed. I ended up sleeping with my head at the bottom of the bed and my feet at the head of the bed, that was only marginally better. I had also requested soft pillows before my arrival, but was dismayed that the pillows were hard bricks (ok, maybe not bricks, but they were too firm to be comfortable).
The room in appearance was clean but I wasn't keen on the smeared toothpaste in the bathroom shelf area.

Great if you just want basic and peace & quiet to rest
Pros:

Quiet room, comfortable bed, black out curtains, no outside noise or disturbances, just a basic everything you need hotel room.

Cons:

The bathroom was a bit .. outdated. No toilet roll holder, ripped off bath handles, old shower.. no nice gels or body wash.

Good, did the job, only slept in it

Worked well for what I needed it for, cheap and cheerful and a bed for the night out in Abderdeen

Just a preference but the single room was tiny, bed was much smaller than I anticipated but that's not the hotels fault
