Location
Breakfast
Convenient and within walking distance to the sights.
Disconnected parking to the hotel. The age of the property has some disadvantages as our room had an angled floor.
Live this place we stay here regular and will defo be back again
House if knocking the door at 10am asking when we were Leaving check out time was 11am after complaining I received a lovely e mil back saying they would be sorting this out
Love the location I have stayed there a few times
I didn’t like when I was checking out I wasn’t asked how my stay was she never said a word to me no conversation at all
The location was perfect for our rail tour holiday.
The price was unbelievable. Its the cheapest of the 6 places we will be staying, but has set the bar very high for cleanliness, warm welcome, breakfast, excellent room and bed. I must make special mention of Jodi who was on the reception desk when we checked in. We asked her about places to eat, and possible Whisky tours the following day. She said she would research for us, and have some suggestions for us when we came back down. She had done loads of research and we have had a brilliant tour of the Strathisla distillery today, as she recommended. I hope to stay again, it was a great place to stay.
😀
1 We walked to the beach, and went by what looked like the nearest route which took us by the docks. It was not a great place to be. We came back a different way.
2 We only had one night there.
Proximity to railway station. Old-fashioned charm.
Slightly wonky lift. Made a reservation for dinner in the restaurant but was moved because a tour group was coming in.
