The location of the hotel is fantastic with the view of the lake.
For a hotel at this price point, the service and overall experience fell noticeably short of expectations.
The property promotes thoughtful touches like morning and evening “rejuvenation drinks,” yet this was only offered on the first day and never followed through during the remainder of our stay. Small inconsistencies like this detract from what should feel like a meticulously curated experience.
We arrived from an overnight volcano hike, and understandably had muddied body and clothes and used a face towel to clean up. Being charged a $30 fee for a soiled towel felt excessive and out of line with the level of hospitality one expects from a luxury hotel. Having traveled extensively across 38 countries, this was a first for me —and not in a good way.
The included breakfast was also underwhelming. Offering only a basic continental selection (fruit and beverages) seems disproportionate to the nightly rate, where a more substantial and elevated breakfast experience should be standard.
Lastly, while the on-site helipad is initially a novelty, it quickly becomes a nuisance. Frequent helicopter arrivals and departures disrupted the peaceful, tranquil atmosphere we were seeking.
Overall, while the setting has potential, the service, attention to detail, and guest experience do not currently justify the premium price.

The property is basically a town of its own. 20 minutes from pana & the bed wasn’t comfortable

Zwei Restaurants - eines davon direkt am See, Fine Dining, mit einem Hoteleigenen Aufzug zu erreichen.
Everything. The location, facilities and staff were superb. The interior decor was quirky but brilliant.
For us there was nothing we didn’t like, but be warned there are a lot of steps if you want to use the infinity pool.
Tout etait parfait . J’ai adoré le personnel la chambre était top et j’ai apprécié le méditation kit , le paint kit et les ritual du matin et soir ! Le kayak le matin était top je reviendrais for sure !

Absolutely stunning location, views and room decor. Our room had a bathtub on the balcony, which was divine. Everything was beautifully appointed, including the common areas. Loved taking out kayaks/paddleboards on the lake (included in the stay).
Felt a bit nickel and dimed at times, especially for the price we were paying. Breakfast was a “continental breakfast” - which was just coffee, juice, two pats of butter and bread. For the price, would have been nice to have a real breakfast. Additionally- felt like there were a few missed opportunities - why don’t light a bonfire in the evening by the lake for guests to enjoy? Would have been lovely - even when we asked for it, we got confused looks.
The property ground are gorgeous.
The rooms are a bit outdated in terms of air conditioning and technology. It is on a mountain so be aware it’s quite elevated and there are a lot of stairs.

Me encantó la vista desde el área de descanso que está afuera del lobby, la vista desde la habitación está obstruida por árboles y prácticamente no se ve nada. La cama era muy cómoda.
Que la habitación era muy caliente y el AC está mal posicionado, no era suficiente, y eso que fui en temporada “fría”.

El lugar donde está ubicado el hotel es espectacular. La propiedad es muy linda, resaltan la decoración de los distintos ambientes y de ambos restaurantes.
Las vistas al lago son bellísimas.
En cuanto a la habitación fue excelente en todos los sentidos. Diseño, tamaño, vista divina.

Loved the wellness environment created - including the meditation kit and painting kit in room. The decor is just perfect and the views unmatched. The staff really try their best for you - special mentions to Sucely at the front desk, Edouardo in the restaurant and Henry at Killik (by the water). Extra touches like the morning and evening rituals, the Guatemalan coffee in the room and the beautiful textiles used as decor - add to the experience too.
I was a little confused with the welcome whatsapp, had to request this a few times before it was received. Unclear if I was to use this to ask questions of the experience team or if this was just a broadcast channel used by the hotel. Though this was an extremely small part - if I had more time, I would have enjoyed booking the sound bath or other experiences
