It was convenient but needs a lot ofwork done to it
Pros:

It was quiet despite being behind a pub

Cons:

It is literally falling apart. We got one towel in the room, and then had to wait ages for more.

Cons:

Full ashtray outside my room- I’m a non smoker so this was disgusting. The door didn’t lock. There was no toilet roll holder- this sat on the top of the toilet. The heater wouldn’t go any hotter than 23 degrees and was making a noise- would not recommend

We were only seeking very basic budget overnight accommodation and this motel was OK for us.
Pros:

Our unit was located away from the main road towards the back of the block, so very quiet. The beds were comfortable, the cooling/heating worked well, and the mini bar fridge was cold. The meal in the dining room at the hotel was excellent and good value.

Cons:

Occupant no. 1 had first hot shower but occupant no. 2 was not so lucky as the hot water shut down before the lathered soap could be washed off: a chilly ending. Batteries in the TV remote were dead so TV would not respond, however we fortunately carry spares, so problem solved.

Disappointing yet would be so easily fixed
Pros:

Room itself was good. Bathroom was not.

Cons:

Mould on the bathroom ceiling. Spent as little time as possible in the bathroom and didn't shower so as to minimise my time in there.

Pros:

The room is serviceable, although it lacks shelf space and a dedicated chair. A counter is the main space on which one can organize things. The location by the Warrego River levee offers opportunity for pleasant walks in the evening or early morning as well as easy access to the town center. The staff at the restaurant are friendly and helpfully received a package on my behalf.

Cons:

I don't like it when I have to drag the bedside chest of drawers over to sit on because there is no chair in the room. There is a chair outside the door and perhaps I should have taken it inside, but a plastic lawn chair added to the room would make a big difference in comfort level, especially if two people were occupying the room. There was a bit of a bad smell coming up from the drain in the shower and the bathroom ceiling bore the remains of many slaughtered mosquitoes.
