We had a great stay. Bilik bersih dan sangt selesa. Breakfast sedap. Staff mesra. Will repeat our stay here.

Pros:

Very quiet place..good for a relaxing stay. Very pleasant and helpful staff. Only stayed one night thus did not have chance to explore Gerik. Will come again if there's an opportunity.

Deluxe"-Sticker ohne Inhalt – Ein unvermeidbares Übel auf der Durchreise
Pros:

Wer von der Ost- zur Westküste reist, kommt an Gerik kaum vorbei – und landet leider oft im Cottage Gerik. Ein Dach über dem Kopf, immerhin.

Cons:

Die Ameisen-Invasion: Auf dem Weg zum Zimmer fing es an, und bei der zehnten Ameise im Zimmer haben wir aufgehört zu zählen. Ein ungleicher Kampf.
Ausstattung: Drei Bügel und ein einziger Stuhl für zwei Personen – Minimalismus pur. Toilettenpapier gab es erst auf ausdrückliche Nachfrage.
Die Technik: Der Fernseher hat sich zwar ununterbrochen upgedatet, das Ergebnis waren aber exakt 0 Sender.
Sanitärer Abenteuerurlaub: Bevor man die Spülung betätigt, sollte man sicherheitshalber einen Blick in den Spülkasten werfen, ob genug Wasser da ist. Duschen ohne Trennwand ist okay, aber ohne warmes Wasser eher ein Abhärtungstraining.
Bezahlung: Kreditkarte war möglich, aber Steuern mussten bar bezahlt werden. Das Wechselgeld gab es dann in den kleinsten Scheinen, die Malaysia jemals gedruckt hat.Ein Deluxe Aufkleber macht aus einer Absteige noch kein Luxushotel.

Safety - There is a nail sticking out from the mirror drawer. It caught on my clothes and tore them. This is dangerous, especially for a baby who could accidentally hit their head on it. The air conditioner is still warm even though it is set to 16°C.
