Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr zentral. In etwa 10 Minuten erreicht man den Night Market zu Fuß, was praktisch ist, wenn man abends noch etwas essen oder durch die Stände schlendern möchte. Positiv war außerdem, dass es im Bad eine Abgrenzung zwischen Dusche und Toilette gab.

Cons:

Das Zimmer war sehr günstig, aber auch wirklich sehr schlicht und dunkel. Die Wände wirkten schmuddelig und insgesamt haben wir uns dort nicht besonders wohlgefühlt. Das Fenster ließ sich nicht öffnen, wodurch sich das Zimmer etwas wie ein dunkles Loch angefühlt hat.

Das Frühstück war leider das schlechteste, das wir bisher auf unserer Low-Budget-Reise hatten: weiches, ungetoastetes Toast mit Ketchup und Ei.

Auch das Personal wirkte auf uns eher unprofessionell. In der Lobby, wo Gäste eigentlich kurz sitzen oder entspannen könnten, saß oft das Personal selbst, spielte laut am Handy und belegte die Plätze.

Die Straße vor dem Hotel ist zwar sehr zentral, wirkt aber auch recht schmuddelig, voll und insgesamt nicht besonders entspannt. Das muss man mögen.

Pros:

-The staff is amazing: Jarxiong and Jong were always smiling (a real smile), and tried to assist as much as possible.
-Location: You can just walk from the hotel and start enjoying the city.
-Coffee and bananas always available.
-I could leave my bags after check out for a few hours.
-Clean: the whole room and badroom were very clean.
-AC and fan working.
-TV wasn't working at first, but they solved it the next day.
-The bed and pillows were confy.

Cons:

-The bed takes all the space. There are walls right next to it, so there are no night tables to leave your stuff.

Pros:

Ich hatte einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt hier im Sakura Wood House.(9 Nächte) Der Staff war überaus freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Zimmer verfügte über ein separates WC und separate Dusche mit heiss Wasser, das auf das Grad genau einstellbar war. Mein Bett wurde alle 3 Tage frisch bezogen und Täglich gereinigt. Es war sehr sauber und die Böden glänzten. Das Hotel ist nicht neu und hat Gebrauchsspuren aber für Laotische Verhältnisse top. Die Lage ist perfekt um Luang Prabang zu erkunden. Alles ist fussläufig zu erreichen. Das Preis Leistungsverhältnis war ausgezeichnet. Enthalten auch das Frühstück. Leider nur Instant Kaffee und Tee und ungetostetem Weissbrot, Eier, Päckli Saft. Das hat mir aber nichts ausgemacht und für einen tollen Kaffe und Frühstück war das Angebot in der Umgebung gross. Ich kann jedenfalls diese Unterkunft Empfehlen.
