Cons:

Very bad hotel experience. There was no hot water during my stay. The breakfast was extremely poor, with only one item available. The front desk staff was very rude and seemed interested only in collecting money rather than providing customer service.

Basic amenities were missing, including toilet paper, dental kits, and shaving kits. There were lizards roaming inside the room, a large number of mosquitoes, and even bed bugs. After complaining three times, my room was finally changed, but the new room was also in poor condition. The door mat was so dirty that it looked as if it had been taken from a public dustbin.

The hotel advertises a restaurant, but after check-in I discovered that no restaurant was actually operational. Security is another major concern. There are no cameras in the guest areas, and the hotel takes no responsibility if guests’ belongings go missing.

Despite all these issues, when I requested just a one-hour late checkout, it was immediately refused. The staff is highly unprofessional and lacks basic hospitality knowledge.

I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. If you are traveling with family, avoid staying here. If you are visiting for official or business purposes, do not choose this property. I booked a 3-day stay through Booking.com, and many of the facilities and services mentioned online were misleading or completely unavailable.

Overall, one of the worst hotel experiences I have had.

For the price the room is ok but there are.small things to be done otherwise ok
Pros:

The pool was clean, Room was spacious , For the price it was ok, room lights were good, Wifi was working, breakfast was ok and the staff also checked with us for any preferance in food.
That's all...

Cons:

Water Leakage under the wash basin area,
Fan speed was low, TV was not working, later informed the staff and made necessary arrangements so next day it was working.

A bit disappointed
Pros:

The lift was good and the staff friendly.

Cons:

There is building development going on which we were not told about .
The complementary breakfast was a joke as when we went in to the dining room it was full with people standing around holding their breakfast in one hand and tea in another .
Overall cleanliness was below par . When I put my bin out to be emptied the room attendant was there and said “ no problem “ arriving back several hours later the bin was still there !!
A couple of sun beds round the pool may have been nice but felt the whole feeling of the hotel was aimed at local tourism .
Not what you expect from a very good brand name like Travancore .
