No breakfast. Location was great.

The cost and location OK, when extensions are complete it should be an improvement

Staff was very polite while telling you they will not solve your problems.

I booked on-line a de-luxe 3 bed room but was shown a 1 bed room on arrival after a 7000 mile two journey flight lasting 23hours plus immigration and 2nd flight connection waiting time plus 3 hour taxi journey time I was in no mood to be given inadequate facilities having paid in advance for my de-luxe booking .
Miraculously THEN my deluxe 3 bed original booking was made available to me AFTER a fairly vehement exchange of my sincerest English / Tagalog Vocabulary == l was no Longer -- I admit == Mr Nice Guy . After their starting off on their wrong foot the Staff proved then to be really exceptional in every possible way and were then really very very helpful for the rest of my Family stay . The Hotel is central to Catbalogan in obviously a very very busy and extremely Noisy Traffic Connobation in which the hotel is TOTALLY Inadequately soundproofed double glazing wise with No corridor door / Hotel Entrance Noise Resistance Doors --- So All the Main Road Noise comes straight into the Hotel Day and Night from The Numerous Heavy Lorries and The Constant Coaches and Literally Hundreds of Motor Cycle Cabs === NON STOP .
ALSO When I made my booking it WAS NEVER DISCLOSED THAT THE HOTEL WAS UNDERGOING MAJOR CONSTRUCTION // RENOVATION CONTINUOUS WORK with the use of Construction Noise Starting as early as 05 - 45 a.m. Consistent Concrete Drilling and Jack-hammering --- Not the style of holiday break I had booked for with a young family.
I requested several times to speak to the Duty Manager and the Front Desk Staff did their very best to make Contact but the Duty Managers Phone was Unattended or deliberately not being Answered. ????????????????

Nothing at all first time in getting hotel via booking.com that I experienced the worst behaviour I received from the hotel front desk.my brother and I were so tired because of a very long trip from Manila by land and ferry to samar.i was informed that the hotel did not received any advised from booking.com and although very tired,we were allowed to use the room after more that 2 hours of waiting. When we asked about for complimentary toothbrush and toothpaste,the lady at the country mentioned that we did asked for it during booking.so we not given the complimentary toothbrush n toothpaste when we asked for an official receipt for our reimbursement for our company.we were denied because we did not book it directly from them.that we can ask OR to booking.com
It was the most shameful and very lousy accomodation I had experienced over years of travelling in many countries.this hotel doesn't worth your name.your reputation.it will destroy Ur good image specially from me.
