Beautiful, calm serene and relaxing
Bed was very very hard
The location, swimming pool area, the grounds
The food for dinner wasn’t what I expected for the price
The hotel and grounds are beautiful, the staff are exceptional in everything they do . The evening meal was superb and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. I really enjoyed the junior suite which as spacious and the bed was so comfortable. The tower fan made all the difference on these warmer nights.
I enjoyed my stay and there wasn't anything I didn't enjoy
The best part of the hotel were the grounds which very fabulous 👍
Unfortunately we had our dog with us it’s not really dog friendly and breakfast on Sunday was very busy and not great standard 😒
Beautiful stately home hotel. Rooms very comfortable, good size, beautifully decorated. Outdoor and indoor pool both heated. Tennis courts, bikes free to use. Stunning gardens with so much to explore. Great for families.
Very understaffed - both at reception and in the bar/lounge/restaurant, also young poorly trained staff, waited a very long time to be served and for food to be served - really not good enough given the price of the food and drink is extremely expensive (£11 glass of wine, £6 tub of ice cream, £7 portion of chips etc.). Also felt that the atmosphere around the pool was not welcoming to children despite there being designated family swim times people were frowning at us for just being children and making noise when having fun - other families commented the same thing - dont state the hotel is family friendly on the website if it is not. Finally whilst having bikes available was great half of them were broken and not enough were available - when we went to use them they had all gone!
A lot of well trained staff. Very courteous.
Very expensive drinks! £21.50 for Aperol Spritz!!
Incredible location
Tylney Hall was incredible from arrival to leaving. The outside pool is an absolute bonus. The facilities are great. The grounds are exceptional.
The price of drinks was very over priced.
The amenities were great like the pool
When by the pool it took over an hour to even order food or a drink, considering the drinks were £18 each I would have thought a member of staff serving at all times would be very profitable. The food was cold once arrived. When eating on the terrace the steak was well below par considering it was billed as a good steak for £38. Trying to find staff was impossible we spent most of our time looking for someone and when we found them they were hiding on there phone. The only time a member of staff would find us in the bar or by the pool was to tell us the bar/pool was closing so we couldn’t order anything. Terrible service and considering what they charge very very disappointing.
Facilities are good outdoor pool was lovely.
Room was very nice. Restaurant was also lovely.
Ac in room would be nice.
Think drinks are very expensive at the bar with a mandatory service charge on top.
Schitterende tuin
Geen airco
Location. Grounds well kept. Lots of places to walk around.
Nothing
Location, grounds, accommodation, parking
Food was a disappointment, both dinner and breakfast
Stunning property

Fantastiske omgivelser
Dårlig kvalitet på maten
The house and gardens are beautiful
The staff seemed totally overwhelmed by the number of guests.
The decor in our luxury three room suite, and indeed, all of the public rooms, was sad and depressing 1970s
THERE IS NO AIR-CONDITIONING ANYWHERE IN THE HOTEL AND FOR $1000 A NIGHT THAT IS INEXCUSABLE
A lovely swimming pool had 125 people in it or around the small enclosure making it perfect for a kids birthday party hoopla. Chaos.
