A bucket list item that truly delivered
Pros:

The location, the buildings, the furnishings, the food, the bar and the staff were all exceptional.
Arrangements for transfers were all handled seamlessly by the hotel.
We felt as though we were the only guests with personal attention.
Our room "Twin Gables" was adjacent to the pool and this was an added bonus.
The monkeys and other wildlife were a delight.

Cons:

The only thing that would have improved things would have been a longer stay.

Loved everything about our stay!
Pros:

Loved everything about the Hermitage - A beautiful hotel in a lovely garden. Such a peaceful location - just the sounds of birds, and monkeys occasionally having a lot of fun outside our room! Room was fabulous, very comfortable, spacious and with everything we could possibly need. Particularly enjoyed relaxing by the pool or in the hammock on our verandah. Lovely to meet other guests in the bar in the evenings. Breakfasts were superb, as were other meals. Rum punch best we had in St Kitts & Nevis / Antigua! Staff were all superb. Transfer from airport in St Kitts and back worked seamlessly, and easy to get a taxi to visit other parts of the island. Would love to return!

Need a car or take taxis to get anywhere, which we knew was the case before we booked.

Just the sweetest place with the loveliest staff.
Pros:

Real little gem. Lovely rooms, great little swimming pool,fantastic breakfast and the MOST lovely staff you could wish to meet.
They do a mean rum punch!!

Lokatie is historisch! , inclusief cottages zelf. Goed restaurant inclusief ontbijt. Lekker zwembad om af te koelen

Inn love with solitude
Pros:

I liked how everything was close but far at the same time. So you had privacy but at the same time it was a quick walk to reception.

Beautiful cottages and grounds!
Pros:

Beautiful, calm, authentic family run hotel. We loved our cottages and all the quaint touches. Service was great, food very tasty and it was a perfect spot to explore Nevis from!

Booked 1 night, stayed 2!

I can understand why the
Hermitage Hotel has such amazing
reviews, the hotel is absolutely stunning
and certainly does not disappoint. An added
bonus, fortunately for us, our room was
ready and we were able to check in early.
Our room, what can I say, just spectacular.
Within a loft buiding, Carridge House, had a
partial seaview, over looked a beautiful lush
green garden and surrounds. Late
afternoon the garden was populated by the
local cheeky monkeys, running and
climbing amok, the curious ones up on the
roof opposite, checking us out, the new
arrivals.

In the evening we had delicious dinner,
which included a complimentary rum punch
and in the morning, a delicious cooked
breakfast, which set us up for the day.
Initially had only booked one night but
ended staying for two.
Thanks has to be given to all staff at The
Hermitage behind the scenes and front of
house (Richie - proprietor, Jamila, Shawn)
as they certainly enhance the experience.

Cons:

It was a perfect stay.
