Good location, reasonably priced but not for laundry
Pros:

Have stayed here on a few occasions, always a pleasant stay. Location is ok, near to Palats Sportu Metro and large shopping precinct Gulliver.

Cons:

Hot water for shower could be hotter. Laundry costs are quite expensive!

Unkompetente Mitarbeiter in einem sonst guten Hotel

Ich nutze das Hotel regelmäßig wenn ich in Kiev bin. Ob ich es weiter nehmen werden muss ich mir genau überlegen. Leider war das Personal dieses mal beim Check-In komplett unkompetent und unfreundlich.
Die Lage ist super und das Frühstück ebenfalls Top!

Cons:

Leider gab es enorme Probleme beim Check-In! Erst fand man angeblich die Buchung nicht, man brauchte die Bestätigungsmail von booking. Diese habe ich gesucht. Als diese gefunden war reichte die aufeinmal auch nicht mehr aus. Auf die Frage hin ob ich gehen soll und dann aber auch bei späteren Aufenthalten nichtmehr wieder kommen würde antwortete man einfach Frech mit "Ja"! Leider war es zu nahe an der Ausgangssperre, sodass eine Suche eines anderen Hotels schwierig war. Ich sagte, dass sie es bitte mit booking klären sollen wodrauf man antwortete, dass es mein Problem sei und nicht ihres. Das sehe ich etwas anders! Nachdem man merkte, dass ich hartnäckig blieb sollte ich meine Buchung bei booking stornieren. Warum, wenn es doch angeblich keine gab? Komisch,komisch... Ebenfalls wollte man mir auch erzählen, dass man mir das Zimmer nicht zum Preis von booking anbieten kann... Selten so gelacht! Aufeinmal konnte man es dann doch, nachdem ich etwas Theater machte! Komisch,komisch... Vielleicht sollte booking hier nochmal ein Auge drauf werfen... Es klingt fast so als wollte man die Provision von booking umgehen und zusätzlich noch etwas Kohle machen. Dann das nächste Kapitel der Komödie... Die Touristensteuer... Erstmal sei generell die Frage erlaubt wie es in einem aktiven Kriegsgebiet eine Touristensteuer geben kann... Bisher konnte mir diese Frage niemals jemand beantworten... Allerdings gibt es auch Gründe sich von dieser befreien zu lassen. Dieses klappt in der Regel auch, mal mehr und mal weniger gut, aber in der Regel immer! Ausser scheinbar in diesem Hotel... Es ist nicht möglich sich davon befreien zu lassen. Auf meine Frage warum es in anderen Regionen klappt kamen nur dumme Antworten. Dann war es nur für Ukrainer möglich sich befreien zu lassen. Auf die Frage ob ich denn in Lemberg,Charkiw, Uman usw. auf einmal Ukrainer bin und in Kiev Ausländer kamen wieder nur dumme Ausreden!
