excellent family stay in charming part of Kyoto !
Pros:

The hotel is very nice and very good positioned , with easy access to all restaurants , stores etc . Looks very traditional with all modern comfort inside . The staff very friendly and facilities good .The afternoon lounge was nice and family like corner .

Cons:

The choice of wine in the lounge corner could have been better .

Perfect for privacy, peace and quiet
Pros:

I liked the calmness of this quaint hotel. Away from the hustle and bustle, I felt I almost had the place to myself! The staff were so welcoming and friendly, the room spacious and could be blacked out for the night and not a sound could be heard. Breakfast was healthy and delicious!

Cons:

It was a 1.4km walk to where my friends were staying near the river, however the distance gave me an opportunity to explore and take in the Nishiki Markets nearby.

Restful peaceful popsicle longing
Pros:

The facilities were beautiful and modern- comfortable and elegant. An excellent value!

Cons:

One crushing flaw: the sumptuous popsicles do tantalizingly made available for mere minutes of the day so violently and cruelly rug pulled thereafter. I would gladly pay higher rates if that’s what’s keeping the popsicle bar closed! Please, do not lock your popsicles behind austere institutional walls.
