Cons:

bad internet!! only place in all of Japan with unstable and weak internet was inside the hotel. Staff did not care, pretended it was not a problem. Towels cheap kind that dont dry. Staff had many rules for guests…. didnt clean according to schedule. Worst hotel out of 5 while in Japan

Отличное расположение! Очень понравилось, что в отеле была комната отдыха, где были напитки и перекус, можно было зайти после прогулки выпить чай или кофе с десертом, вечером бокал вина или пива. Вкусные завтраки. Очень удобные кровати и подушки.

Cons:

В отеле нет окон, это не очень комфортно. Даже в номере окна матовые, за которыми ничего не видно. На завтраке не хватало свежих фруктов и овощей.

THE GENERAL KYOTO Shijou Shinmachi è stato uno degli hotel che mi sono piaciuti di più durante il nostro viaggio in Giappone! ❤️

La struttura è in una posizione centralissima, piccola, intima e caratteristica, con un’atmosfera davvero piacevole. Offre diversi servizi molto comodi, come tè e caffè a disposizione degli ospiti all’arrivo, lavatrici e asciugatrici e una lounge dove, fino alle 22, è possibile consumare gratuitamente qualcosa da bere e qualche snack anche dopo cena.

La colazione non è molto abbondante e la scelta non è vastissima, ma quello che abbiamo mangiato era buono. Inoltre, sono disponibili alcuni piatti preparati al momento dal personale.

La camera era davvero molto spaziosa, ma il vero punto di forza, per me, è stato il bagno: eccezionale per l’accessibilità in sedia a rotelle! Non credo di aver mai trovato un bagno così confortevole durante i miei viaggi. Il lavabo era ad un’altezza perfetta per una persona in carrozzina e nella doccia era presente anche una sedia. Tutto pensato per garantire comfort e praticità.

Un altro aspetto da sottolineare è la gentilezza del personale, sempre disponibile e con un’ottima conoscenza dell’inglese. Abbiamo anche fatto spedire i bagagli da Tokyo a Kyoto e, al nostro arrivo per il check-in, li abbiamo trovati già in hotel: un servizio davvero comodissimo!

Consigliatissimo, soprattutto a chi viaggia in sedia a rotelle e cerca una struttura accogliente, confortevole e attenta all’accessibilità. Per noi è stata un’esperienza davvero splendida e ci tornerei assolutamente!

Great hotel!
Pros:

Great stay! Rooms are nicely sized, bathroom is great. They have a lounge on the second floor where you can get something to drink and a small bite during the day or relax in the evening. Breakfast is restaurant quality choice out of 3 meals with a small buffet on top. Absolutely recommended!

Pros:

Die Lage ist super, das Zimmer mit 32m sehr groß. Das Hotel liegt ruhig, mehrere gute Restaurants direkt in der Nähe. Gutes Frühstück, allerdings begrenzte Auswahl. Lounge mit Snacks kostenfrei. Schönes großes Bad. Regenschirme zum Ausleihen jederzeit da.

Cons:

Betten für unseren Geschmack etwas hart. Lounge nicht so gemptlich. Klimaanlage etwas schwer dosierbar. Ablauf Waschbecken leicht verstopft. Fenster können nicht geöffnet werden. Wir hätten auch verlängert, es war aber günstiger direkt bei booking.com neu zu buchen.
