Marari Blue Waves

Savio, Sharon and the rest of the host family was incredibly welcoming and friendly, always available and happy to help with any requests and our many questions. They even invited us to a local celebration, which was an experience we‘ll never forget!

The hosts can prepare delicious dinners on request, with fresh seafood from local fishermen. The beach is just a minute away and very calm. Despite the heat, our room was always comfortable thanks to AC and a fan. The room itself was clean and spacious. We would highly recommend this homestay to anyone looking for a relaxing and authentic experience!

This was our second time staying at Marari Blue Waves, since we enjoyed it so much during the off-season in 2025, we decided to return and we didn't regret it at all.
The family run homestay just a few steps away from Marari beach provides you with everything you need.
We enjoyed the homemade breakfast, but also dinners in the evening, which we chose upon request, a lot. Very authentic meals, which we would definitely recommend future guests not to miss out on.

Well located in a quiet area and close to the beach with many small restaurants. The room and bathroom had everything we needed : furniture, hot shower…
The staff was super friendly and helpful. The breakfast (we choosed continental) was quite good

Via een zandwegje ben je zo bij de zee, het strand is proper en er zijn leuke barretjes met heerlijk eten. De zee is best wild, maar wij vonden dat juist leuk. De kamer was zeer proper en de uitbaters heel erg vriendelijk. Ze installeerden bv. stoelen met een parasol voor ons op het strand en regelden een tuktuk voor ons. Wij hopen hier ooit nog terug te komen!

Beautiful place, heaven!

Ottima posizione a pochi passi da una spiaggia molto tranquilla, con qualche ristorantino e barche di pescatori. Camera semplice con bel balconcino dove fare colazione e cenare su prenotazione con i favolosi piatti della mamma.

Tout a été parfait. Mon séjour s’est déroulé dans les meilleures conditions : chambre propre et confortable, à quelques mètres de la belle plage de Marari, mais surtout l’accueil exceptionnel de Sharon et ses frères… bienveillants, réactifs, discrets… ils m’ont aidé à planifier mes visites, les transports en Tuk Tuk, etc… Enfin, les repas servis sur la terrasse sont simplement exquis ! Bravo à la maman cuisinière et merci à vous tous !

Besonders herausragend ist die ruhige und familiäre Atmosphäre.

Savio provided great communication via WhatsApp before I arrived offering a taxi pick up and he and his family were really welcoming and friendly. I had the top floor room which was comfortable with a balcony and an option of continental or Kerala style breakfast was served there each morning. It’s a 2 minute walk to the gorgeous Maria beach and a really relaxing place to stay. Sharon offers a great taxi service and I had a reasonable and comfortable ride back to the airport.

Nous avons passé 15 jours absolument merveilleux ! Nous avons été accueillis par une famille d'une extrême gentillesse. C'est exactement ce que l'on cherche en voyage : de l'humain du confort et de la générosité !! Une pensée toute particulière et beaucoup de bonheur pour le nouveau bébé qui vient d'arriver dans la famille

Close to the Beach. The Host Family were lovely & did everything they could to make the stay memorable and comfortable. The breakfast food was good. We decided to have our evening meals here too and the food superb.

We spend the first 4 days of our Kerala tour at Marari Blue Waves and we could not have been happier with our choice. The host family is super friendly and very helpful, they organized transfers and served delicious food.

Wonderful homestay close to Marari beach. Rahul, Savio and the entire family went out of their way to accommodate us during our stay. Our room was very nice and clean. Breakfast and also dinner, which we requested for most of our nights, was exceptional.
We can totally recommend staying at this homestay, if you are choosing Marari beach.
We are looking forward to returning in the not too distant future.
