Sledgehammer sounds and paint smell, not a dream holiday

Cons:

If you don't want to be woken up at 9:00 a.m. by the sound of sledgehammers and the smell of paint thinner, don't stay here. It's unbelievable, but they're carrying out painting and renovation work in the middle of July. It's impossible to sleep, and even if you want to use the pool, you won't be able to enjoy it. On top of that, it completely ruins the peaceful atmosphere. Doing renovation work during the peak season is beyond comprehension.
To make matters worse, the staff keep knocking on your door at 9:30 a.m. for housekeeping. They are so persistent that the guests in the room next door had to leave a note asking not to be disturbed. The rooms are spacious, but there is mould.

Pros:

fantastic location, an easy walk to the beach and right into the heart of Seminyak for shopping and great food. There are convenience stores close by, plus an excellent local massage spot that I’d highly recommend for a proper Balinese massage.
The rooms are spacious with very comfortable beds, a large bathroom, and excellent air conditioning. The pool was also a nice bonus, perfect for a refreshing dip in the afternoons.

Away from the noise , but close to all of the fantastic amenities.

Pros:

Un hotel espectacular , muy buena ubicación ,muy cerca de la playa pero a la vez increíblemente tranquilo. Las habitaciones super amplias y cómodisimas y la piscina espectacular.

Cons:

Todo fue estupendo, incluso me dejaron quedarme una hora más el último día.No tiene desayuno pero puedes pedir y te lo traen de una cafetería cercana suite rápido y muy rico.

Good location but facilities are old

Very large room. Good location in Seminyak.

Cons:

We had to change room because it was smelling like mold. It was still smelly in the second room but slightly better. The hotel is clearly old and needs renovation work. No atmosphere in the common areas / pool so we didn’t stay long there

Staff were friendly but it was hit or miss getting issues resolved.
Pros:

It was at the end of a dead end street so it was very peaceful.

Cons:

Wonderfully heigh ceilings but no ceiling fan , and windows can’t be opened. No screens on doors so they cannot be opened either. Room had a smell of damp about it but unfortunately it could not be aired naturally.

Absolutely beautiful - peaceful and serene and sitting my the pool in the late afternoon divine.

The cafe menu offered in the room sounds great but getting the cafe to answer the phone or a text to take an order is not.
