Hotel close to Alipurduar Station, spacious room and clean private bathroom
Pros:

We were in need for a room for the night, as our train arrived very late in Alipurduar. Hotel O Kanchanjanga Tourist Lodge offered us a spacious room and we could sleep well and take a shower with warm water. The sounds of the passing trains was soothing at times (I like trains) and the staff, in particular the person taking care of the cleaning and the luggage was extremely fast and friendly. It's a pleasure to meet people like him and indeed we are grateful that we could stay at Hotel O Kanchanjanga Tourist Lodge for that night because we were already tired from a long travel.

Cons:

The room bed sheets and courtains could have been cleaner, but I am realising that there's different standards in different places regarding cleanliness on fabrics. The bathroom was clean, and the In any case, we were grateful to stay there and we thank the Hotel for allowing us to stay there.
