Pros:

uma informação importante é que o hotel está mais próximo de reckong peo do que do centro de kalpa (isso é muito importante porque, se pegar o ônibus público até o ponto final de kalpa, estará muito longe do hotel para voltar caminhando. a vista do hotel é muito bonita (a melhor de todas as hospedagens que estive no vale). os proprietários são muito simpáticos e prestativos e até autorizaram a lavagem das minhas roupas em uma máquina de lavar roupa da propriedade e sem custos. o proprietário também me levou até o terminal de ônibus de onde saem ônibus para shimla.

Cons:

se você estiver a pé, para ir do hotel até o ponto de ônibus público, a caminhada não será pequena e com uma grande subida. para ir até reckong peo, é possível ir a pé (se você gosta de caminhar). porém, para ir até o centro de kalpa, no templo, somente com transporte público. em julho, o tempo pode mudar rapidamente. eu planejava ir a sangla e descobri que o rio tinha destruído a ponte de acesso ao local. então, dependendo da época que você vá para essa região, é extremamente importante que fique monitorando as condições das estradas e sempre ter alguns dias de folga na viagem para alguma emergência (estrada interditada, por exemplo).

The view from the room.

Cons:

The homestay was a bit away from the main town. So it was a bit difficult to get food especially since I went in the off season when they were short staffed. However the host was generous to share a part of their lunch on request.

Pros:

One of the best accomodations I've ever been to. The family is very kind and friendly. They serve good food and the view from the room is breathtaking. Would definitely come again!
The owner also helped me with ms permit and dropped me in town for my bus.

Pros:

The highlight of Shudarang Inn is waking up to a breathtaking Kinnaur Kailash view right from your private balcony - it’s the kind of vista that stops you mid-sentence. But what truly made this stay special were the hosts, Deepika and Vijay. Warm, attentive, and genuinely caring : they went above and beyond with our two-year-old and made us feel completely at home. Rare hospitality.

Cons:

Absolutely nothing to complain about honestly! A small suggestion - slightly darker blackout curtains would be a nice addition for late risers. But that’s entirely our problem, not theirs. 😂

Wonderful Experience at The Shuderang Inn!
Pros:

Vijay is an outstanding host: kind, helpful, and attentive (without being intrusive at all). The room has an amazing view and was very comfortable. The peaceful location, above Rekong Peo, was within an easy 20-minute uphill bus or taxi ride to Kalpa. The home cooking was delicious and hygienic. This was a fantastic experience staying here!

Free transportation from reckongpeo market and bus stand to the property, just drop Vijay a WhatsApp message and he will be ready to help.
Good arrangements for dinner orders (homemade thali meals) during winter season when walking out can be challenging at night.
Vijay provided good advice for day trip to Sangla, Kalpa and Chitkul, thanks a lot!
Good view overlooking the Kinner Kailash mountain range.

Cons:

None. Im so grateful for Vijay’s hospitality. Mineral water is complimentary upon check in and extra requests.
