Pros:

The owners were excellent and great hosts. Being dog friendly is really good and no issues at all bringing our dog with us. Breakfast was good with good choices. Location was good for what we needed and sufficient parking at rear of hotel. Bedroom and ensuite were good.

Cons:

Mattress on bed was a little uncomfortable for us, but probably because we are so use to our own. We had an evening meal from menu. The surf and turf was good and steak cooked how I requested, the lasagne was a little overcooked.

The hosts were very friendly and very welcoming. Property had ample parking.

Cons:

Food was extremely disappointing, in an area with a captive audience due to its location I would have expected them to be the heart of the village offering quality home cooked meals. But unfortunately that wasn’t the case. The building also smelled of cigarette smoke and cleanliness was poor.

Home comforts - worth perservering to find it.
Pros:

Lovely staff, the lady who owns it was very welcoming. The rooms were good, and the food was all home-cooked and they had a decent menu, a bonus considering we were the only ones in the hotel.

Cons:

Very hard to find the first time. The lights were turned off, so in the dark it was almost impossible to find. Nothing else. Now I know where it is, it will be much easier in the cold, dark winter nights.

A lovely break, with very friendly staff and the drive there thru the middle of wales was awesome.
Pros:

Graet location! and breakfast was outstanding!!

Pros:

Very welcoming,room very clean, friendly host mum n daughter. Breakfast the best. Cooked fresh. Great start to day.location good, was easy to find.

Cons:

Room very small, needs smaller bed as hit my side every time, was no room to move or sit. Toilet seat was a issue as didn't fit and pinched your skin. Bathroom light on timer so stayed on a long time at night but needed it to see back to bed.
