The Beach Escapes was one of the best places we have ever stayed. Finding the perfect accommodation while travelling with family and friends can be challenging, but Beach Escapes exceeded our expectations. Loved the detailed and very clear communication from Sophie. The apartment was very clean, comfortable and provided everything a family needs. It offered plenty of space to move around, all the necessary facilities, comfortable beds, and the beach right in front of the apartment.

Well appointed apartments in an excellent location. Careful and thoughtful touches alongside great communication from the host
Check out at 10am means quite an early start with a young family - in order to pack, clear up etc. A later check out would make all the difference
We stayed in the Admirals Deck because we wanted the balcony, panoramic sea view were amazing! The whole apartment was very comfortable with great attention to detail, a home from home experience. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
There’s absolutely nothing you can not like about this property or the beachfront location
The apartment was beautifully decorated, very well equipped and laid out on arrival. A packet of biscuits and crisps was a pleasant gift. Amazingly situated. Contact with the host pre-stay was very good and an early check in was arranged for us. Two beach towels were left for our use which we used when we swam in the Strait of Dover on our doorstep.
The original check-in and following access to the property was quite arduous. On arrival, the original door access was very difficult with a key code lock then a key on an expanding metal cable to open a lock. Then there was another key code lock to get the keys to our apartment and external doors. We were told in advance which colour keys were for what doors. We had 3 keys one of which was said to be for the bedroom, but there was no lock on the bedroom. You couldn't leave the property without taking your keys, even to sit on your allocated terrace: which other guests also sat on, or to go to the communal area or bin area as you need a key to get into the communal area, back into the property from the bin area and then back into the front door to apartments.
Communication with the hosts once checked-in ceased. I sent 2 messages soon after arrival asking where to find an iron and ironing board and one asking if there was a cooling fan as the temperature was 27° that day. Neither was answered. The third message sent two days after leaving asking them to post a dress that I had accidentally left in the wardrobe, obviously offering to pay for all costs and inconvenience has still not been replied to.
The showerroom is lit by a mirror surrounded by very bright lights that can only be turned on and off from a switch on the right hand side of the bed. The lights are blinding in the middle of the night and flood the bedroom but the showeroom is pitch black if you don't turn the lights on. Definitely needs a night light.
Instructions how to use the coffee machine would be useful.
The property was very clean was good apart from the half eaten biscuit in the cupboard under the wardrobe, a pair of socks on the top shelf of the wardrobe and an odd sock in the beach towel basket. But perhaps these items were overlooked to get us early access.
We had a fantastic stay! Everything you could need and right by the beach. It’s nice and quiet and close to some local restaurants and cafes, we would totally come back :)
