Should have chosen a different hotel, of which there are nearby options
Pros:

The cornflakes....

Cons:

The continental breakfast meant sharing a jar of jam, bread still in fastened wrappers, no small spoons for tea etc. ran out of yogurts, no plain ones, no honey, no choice of fruit only old tangerines, coffee machine broke so used sachets Which were awful....Also cheap and nasty toilet paper that we ran out of and had no more in the room!!!! Good job we had tissues with us....and no soap in the bathroom. and the electric heater had no instructions to turn it on meaning we spent 30 or so minutes fathoming it out....and room was so small only space for one chair, looks like a new carpet had recently been fitted and made it extremely difficult to close bathroom door....oh and the bar only had tables and chairs in it....no drinks at all....

Highly recommended hotel with excellent location
Pros:

excellent location; couldn't be better really. right by the side of Lime St station. I was also allowed to check in and drop off luggage when I arrived. Friendly service throughout my stay. highly recommended.

Cons:

not much to report really; like i said, overall stay was excellent. Using the shower was a little unusual but facillities were otherwise fine.

Great comfortable stay at a reasonable price

Basic but clean , always stay here when we go to a concert , next door to the Academy and Lime Street

We'd stay there again
Pros:

Breakfast was fine and plenty for all people. Staff very friendly. Rooms comfortable and very clean. Beds amazing. Location ideal for the station saved dragon luggage a long way. Local to theatre and a pub without going far. Taxi rank in a good location too as we took one for the Liver Building tour. Good value too.

Cons:

Only problem was the traffic noise. Maybe a room the other side of hotel would have been better. Ear plugs next time.

Don't stay here

Cons:

The rooms were outdated and not very clean. Toilet door didn't close properly. The room that one of my sons and daughter in law were in wasn't cleaned or hoovered. Walls were mouldy. When they complained at reception they were offered a single room. Showers were barely warm.

Lo recomiendo
Pros:

Esta muy bien ubicado a una cuadra de la estacion. El personal es super amable. Cuando llegue, me dieron una habitacion muy chiquita y el control remoto no andaba. Se los dije, me cambiaron a otra mucho mejor y ademas me ofrecieron desayuno gratis al dia siguiente por el inconveniente.

Cons:

Ningun dia limpiaron la habitacion. No habia cartel para poner en la puerta y yo tampoco pregunte porque no me preocupaba demasiado, pero es un detalle a tener en cuenta.

Just an OK stay, nothing flash!
Pros:

Liked the location close to the station and shopping centre. Friendly staff. Comfy double bed.
OK for a couple of nights stay but couldn't stay longer!

Cons:

The lift was very old and noisy. Room was very dated, sink cracked, plumbing in bathroom not good. Very creaky floors and view was a brick wall. All in all the hotel needs a good renovation!

For what we paid it was good

We didn’t have breakfast the hotel was just up the street from the theatre so really good

Pros:

The man on reception,I think his name was Ben was so friendly and helpful.The room was superb with a large comfy bed.

Cons:

The lift noise was a minor irritation especially at 3 30AM
