To be honest, the only thing I can think of is location closer to main temples. However, this same location is a curse in many other ways, as explained below, in the 'Did not Like' section. Breakfast was not included in the price, but we could order room service and had decent choice and quality (only suitable for Indian palette though).
The hotel access is pathetic - it opens to a very narrow by lane (just over a meter wide) - it takes about 100m walk to reach the main street. It was a nightmare to transfer our luggage to and from our vehicle to hotel. There is no lift. The bathroom is very basic, and toiletries provided very substandard ones. Grossly overcharged for the kind of amenities (I would rate a max of 1 star) offered by the hotel - please do not fall for the location trap. In addition, the hotel cancelled our Booking.Com reservation - we had 2 rooms for 2 days but now it shows only 1 day reservation for each room, even after Booking.Com intervention.

Walkable distance for kashi temple...inhouse kitchen food is excellent and fresh, it just that they take 1/2 hr to prepare the food....its like homely food, fresh served. So plan ur meals accordingly.
Rooms are to small for the price
The most significant feature of this hotel is its location. Located at the Godwalia Chowk, everything is easily reachable on foot from this location. The distance between this hotel and the Dashashwamedha Ghat is only 150 meters, and the Vishwanath Temple and the Ganga Aarti site are all 200 meters apart. The rooms are routinely serviced, hygienic, and clean.Everyone at the hotel is friendly and goes above and beyond to ensure a nice stay.Recommendable for its location, cleanliness, friendly staff, and all the amenities a traveler could desire.

Great location in the Old Town, only a short walk to the Ghats by the Ganges. Really welcoming team who went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. Happy to share their knowledge on the city.
As the hotel is in the Old Town you cannot get a tuk tuk or taxi to the door but have to walk the last 500m. Don't be put off by the narrow side alley entrance. It was quite safe. Hotel is still being finished as of end November 2023 but was very clean. Rooms and bathroom are small and quite noisy at night but not surprising given its location.
Location & services
I had a great experience at the Hotel Temple View. The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the front desk staff was amazing along with house keeping staff. They all go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. The best thing about this hotel is it is situated really close to Dashashwmedh Ghat and Kashi Vishwanath Temple. They also arranged boat service for us and that was too good. Overall it was a wonderful stay at Hotel Temple View. Thank you! I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Varanasi.

Great experience with excellent Amentities Service ,hotel staff and reception was very flexible and very coperative ! Owner behaviour is very good and room was very comfortable . Very near(walking) to kashivishwnath temple entry gate, Dashasmedh ghat and local market. If you are a chaat lover, kashi chaat is in the hotel lane (4th or 5th shop). You need not to take riksha for Kashi vishwanath or ghats or local matket (everythikg is available on Walking distance) Very Cooperative and flexible hotel staff
Location, cleanliness and staff
No Lift facility
No restaurant at the hotel as advertised but apparently it was possible to have Indian breakfast brought to one’s room. We were able to have coffee and tea ordered in the morning.
The location is absolutely perfect: just inside the pedestrian/two-wheel traffic. However, it is hard to find.
Hotel is new but the location is a big put off ,had to wait hours to get even a cup of tea to served ....overall a very bad experience.
