Great Hotel in a Super Location
Pros:

Excellent location in a beautiful district. Spacious bedrooms, great cafe/restaurant. Very helpful staff.

Pros:

Schöne Atmosphäre mit Liebe zu natürlichen Details.
Schön gestalteter Lobbybereich zum Entspannen.
Sehr freundliches Personal.

Cons:

Leider lassen sich die Fenster im Zimmer nicht öffnen, wodurch man sich als Gast etwas eingeschlossen fühlt.
Es sind fast nur ausländische Gäste im Hotel, die sich teilweise etwas laut verhalten.

Very friendly and helpful staff, clean and neat room, and a very quiet environment and great location.
Pros:

The hotel is conveniently located near major markets, with plenty of restaurants and shopping options nearby. It’s within walking distance to Gion and offers easy transportation to Fushimi Inari. Despite its central location, the environment is very quiet and peaceful. The staff are exceptionally friendly and courteous. Since we don’t speak Japanese and had difficulty making restaurant reservations, they were incredibly helpful and called on our behalf. They also assisted us in booking a shuttle bus to Osaka airport.

Cons:

the window of the room is opaque. Wish breakfast were Japanese style.

Totally my style with coffee shops close by.
Pros:

Absolutely loved this hotel and would go back there to stay. Great spot with ability to walk to the markets and Gion. As well as shrines.

Cons:

Nothing I didn't like.

Pros:

The hotel location is great, we walked everywhere. Plenty of food places located down the road at the food market. Rooms were a decent size. Shower was great.

Cons:

A bit far away from the public smoking area, given that Kyoto is a non smoking town, and smoking in the road is forbidden.

Highly recommend a stay here for the location and facilities
Pros:

Great central location, walking distance to markets and shops and temples . My second time staying and I'll be back. Cafe downstairs is great too.
