Cons:

If you are traveling solo, make sure to check “one person” when booking the room. I didn’t pay attention and had to pay extra. The hotel said that they couldn’t make the adjustment upon arrival.

Excellent hotel for a perfect stay in Kyoto. Arigatô.
Pros:

From the beginning to the end, everything was excellent - welcoming, staff, services, room accommodation, breakfast and checkout process. Everything!

Cons:

The property is well located, next to the Nishiki Market (2min walk), Subway Station (5min walk) and other commercial area.

We loved our stay at Rings! The hotel is really nice and modern, the staff is incredibly nice and welcoming, and the cafe is really good. Breakfast was delicious, really enjoyed some of the craft coffee and teas. The rooms were really nice as well, lots of little details and great shower.

The room was perfect for a short stay: cozy, comfortable, and just the right size, with enough space for luggage. The bed was very comfortable, and I liked having the shower and bathroom separate.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and I had all the information I needed during my stay.

The location is excellent. It’s in a quiet area, close to the market with plenty of food options, and just a short walk from the metro station, making it very easy to explore Kyoto. You can also easily walk to the Gion area.

Breakfast was included in my booking. Although the selection is relatively small, the portions are good. You can choose two dishes, including meat and vegetarian options, plus a drink such as juice or coffee.

Overall, a cozy and very convenient place to stay. I would happily stay here again.

Cons:

There wasn’t really a view from the room because the window glass was completely frosted. It wasn’t an issue for me, as I was mainly looking for a cozy, well designed and comfortable place to stay.

The breakfast selection could also be a little more varied, although the portions and quality were good and I liked the fact that they offer the break option to their guests.

Windows in the room were covered so no natural light. It felt dark. No basic international news channels
