Pros:

Lovely hotel in a great location with wonderful staff but the beds were very hard and not being able to look out the window due to frosted glass was a little frustrating. Overall however a lovely hotel.

Fein, aber nicht ganz sauber.
Pros:

Supernettes kleines und feines Hotel, von dem man aus zu Fuß überall gut hinkommt.

Cons:

Im Badezimmer läuft 24/7 der Lüfter, was dann doch sehr störend ist. Das Badezimmer hätte etwas genauer geputzt gehört. Hier sieht man das Alter des Hotels.

Pros:

L’emplacement est parfait, au cœur d’un quartier calme et à deux pas du tumulte de Kyoto.
La chambre est spacieuse, une bouilloire est à disposition avec thé et café.
Les lits sont grands et confortable. Lounge disponible avec café et thé, biscuits et la possibilité de faire des jeux de sociétés et origamis.

Cons:

Le petit déjeuner qui ne donne pas le droit au choix : salade + saucisse ou jambon chaud qui trempe directement dans le ketchup dès 8h du matin. Un seul café et ensuite c’est payant !
Beaucoup trop de rigueur dans le fonctionnement : pas de petit déjeuner sans les tickets, obligé de les rechercher dans la chambre alors que le nom et le numéro de la chambre sont bien notés sur leur papier.
L’entretien de la chambre : si vous ne sortez pas de la chambre avant 10h, pas d’entretien de la chambre, les serviettes et les nécessaires sont laissés devant votre porte !

They have lots of rules ! Toiletries were not replenished daily and you had to go to reception and request face wash daily

Great hotel right by the Nishiki Market
Pros:

The hotel is right by the Nishiki Market which we very much liked. The staff were very helpful and we were able to borrow umbrellas for free from the hotel one of the days that it was particularly rainy.
