Vi var väldigt nöjda, men mycket lång väntetid på maten. Både vid frukost och övriga måltider.

Tyvärr väldigt mycket sjögräa på stranden och mycket stora tidvattenväxlingar.

Absolutely loved my stay at Mango ...WELL DONE BETH & DULLA! a good job done!
Pros:

It was a fabulous location set on the edge of the beach. Beth and Dulla were wonderful hosts. They made every effort to provide the ambiance for a fabulous Birthday party for my friend. They prepared a wonderful buffet that was enjoyed by all. They also hosted a wonderful evening of music and fire dancers. There was a Taarab musician playing his qanun which was enchanting, as well as vocalist/ guitarist/ drummer playing more familiar tunes. A wonderful way to spend st Valentines evening. A pit was dug on the beach in the shape of a heart and had a fire lit within to add to the ambiance of the evening. I was particularly envious of my friends who had a fabulous little room that opened up to a view of the ocean! Definitely going to wait for another opportunity to book those rooms one day! The pool is a real treat too! Security at Mango is Excellent! I felt very safe even with doors left wide open by me, day and night! so lovely to be able to feel that way! Beth was very interactive and I really enjoyed my chats with her! she is a hostess that made all her guest feel so relaxed, more than welcome, and like family! Thank you so much. We did a lovely excursion on the local sailing boats which was most enjoyable. Getting about was very easy on Tuk Tuks, long walks on the beach most enjoyed by all. I recommend Mango as the loveliest place on Jambiani Beach as it was intimate & homely and right on the edge of the beach.

Cons:

All rooms were fabulous for honeymooners, solo travellers & families alike. My room, whilst large with a lovely big patio was situated behind the bar & kitchen. I felt a little exposed when coming to use the toilet as it was just a gauze screen...whilst no one could see me from the kitchen I was a little self conscious . I suffer from claustrophobia so had to sleep with the door wide open as the doors are solid wood so when closed, there is no view or breeze from on shore winds. There are sitters at the back of the room that open on to their utility space but not much breeze comes from that direction. There is a fan which works very well so I always felt cool and very comfortable on their extremely comfortable bed. Fortunately all those that were present were friends of mine and Beth and Mulla felt like family anyway. Security was excellent.. I felt my room was slightly overpriced but I understand that we are paying for the location which was excellent and the cost of maintaining such a paradise. The coffee situation was not great for the price of the accommodation ... their machine was not working but they bought some plungers so we were able to enjoy some "real coffee" but it was not readily available and in small quantities. I think a plunger jug of coffee should be placed on the tables at breakfast serving. Most of my friends ended up buying coffee from next door.

Pros:

Delicately resently renovated appartment hotel. Staff were all very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Her there are no sellers trying to catch your attention at all times. Relaxing atmosphere in an oasis.

Un coin de paradis
Pros:

Équipe aux petits soins, hôtel paisible avec peu de chambres idéalement situé et cadre magnifique, décoré avec goûts. Très bon petit déjeuner et restaurant de très bonne qualité.
Situé au coeur du village, où l’on peut facilement aller à la rencontre des locaux.

Cons:

Manque rangement pour les vêtements
Le bruit de la mer peut altérer le sommeil mais peut aussi bercer 😉

Un hotel magnifique que nous recommandons à 100%.
Pros:

Un séjour exceptionnel dans un cadre magnifique, l'hotel est extrêmement bien entretenu, nous avons la vue sur la mer depuis n'importe quel endroit de l'hotel. Le personnel est au petit soin, il y a toujours quelqu'un de présent à n'importe quelle heure du jour ou de la nuit pour nous aider.

Eine absolute Traum Unterkunft, besser geht es nicht.
Pros:

Wir reisen seit 5 Jahren nach Sansibar und haben viel gesehen. Das Mango Beach House in Jambiani ist unser Sehnsuchtsort auf ganz Sansibar. Ein kleines Hotel direkt am Meer, liebevoll eingerichtete Zimmern mit viel natürlichen Materialen - man fühlt sich wie im Paradies. In der Küche wird alles frisch zubereitet - ready to order - die Gerichte sind nicht nur unglaublich lecker sondern werden auch wunderschön angerichtet. Kokosnüsse werden direkt vom Baum geerntet und die Cocktail- und Weinkarte kann sich sehen lassen. Die Eigentümerin kümmert sich um jeden Ausflugswunsch, so dass wir die schönsten Ecken und Geheimtipps auf Sansibar sehen durften. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Absolute Empfehlung!

Eine Wohlfühl-Oase. Ein Ort an dem nicht nur der Körper, sondern auch die Seele zur Ruhe kommt!
Pros:

Für uns hat die Unterkunft sogar die bereits positiven Erwartungen übertroffen! Sie liegt direkt am Strand mit unmittelbarem Zugang und wunderschöner Aussicht. Es wurde alles entsprechend der Bilder und Beschreibung angetroffen… und noch viel mehr: Man merkt, wie viel Liebe in der Anlage steckt. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber und schön eingerichtet. Im Restaurant wird jeden Tag frisch gekocht, alle sind sehr zuvorkommend. Jede Woche wird eine Dinner Party mit Showeinlage angeboten. Beth und Dullah sind jederzeit (!) verfügbar für Fragen, Anliegen, Planungen von Ausflügen, Unterstützung oder spannenden Gesprächen über Land, Leute und Kultur. Man merkt den Menschen, die dort arbeiten an, dass sie es gerne tun. Wir haben uns wie zuhause gefühlt. Alles in allem gibt es keinerlei negative Rückmeldung von unserer Seite und wir können gerne sagen, dass wir sobald wie möglich wieder kommen!

Pros:

Les cocktails et les plats sont très bons. Le personnel est super sympa et serviable. Ils ont répondu à chacun de nos besoins et très rapidement. L'hôtel est magnifique et intimiste ce qui est très appréciable pour les personnes qui recherchent de la tranquillité. De plus, depuis la piscine vous aurez une vue exceptionnelle sur l'océan. Rien à redire c'était parfait ! :)

Pros:

This gorgeous beachfront boutique hotel is in the most perfect spot! Beth, her husband, and the team went above and beyond to make my stay super comfy. They kept checking in and adding that personal touch that's often missing in bigger hotels . Stunning hotel in stunningJambiani, and the food- Spot on ! Saturday evening they put on an excellent show too, not to be missed.

It was pleasant and nice. However, we had hoped for a more relaxing stay with less noise and more sleep.

The property was really nice and very tasteful. It was clean and just beautiful like on the pictures.

Cons:

The property is located between two pathways coming from behind the hotel. There are locals that come from there and tend to hang out around the hotel making a lot of noise.

Pros:

L'hôtel Mango Beach House est bien plus qu'un hôtel. Beth, son mari et leurs fantastiques personnels sont aux petits soins pour vous.
D'une propreté rarement vue, toujours une petite attention dans la préparation de la chambre.
Literie extra.
Vous cherchez un hôtel avec une vue incroyable ? Un endroit calme? Chaleureux ?
Peu de chambres donc idéal.
Près de Page, de super resto à proximité et hyper sécurisé avec des habitants très polis et respectueux.
Un énorme merci à toute l'équipe.
Si nous revenons sur l'île, nous reviendrons au Mango Beach House sans hésiter

The location of the place, on the waterfront and the guy at the bar was nice and friendly

Cons:

Unfortunately the rooms don't have AC or fridge because the owner says they are eco friendly. The windows don't have glass, they are just the frame with a net which in our case the net was full of holes that we had to fill with toilet paper to avoid mosquitoes getting in . But you don't prevent the other animals because the "windows" don't close properly.With no glass, it was crazy... We had the local people shouting till 19:30 and when the tide came , the waves sounded so fresh, I thought I was on a raft in the ocean.... We didn't relax at all. The floor of the room and the bathroom was just concrete, no varnish on top so it was filthy. And the door was a homemade, not- sturdy storage house door with a lock on it. No bathroom door to have some privacy so if you did the number 2 , the whole room smelled. And lastly slow Internet. We paid 85€ a night and with the same or lesser amount, you go a bit down on the beach and you get resorts or villas

Lokacija apartmaja je super,saj je hotel zraven morja.

Cons:

V tem delu otoka vedno piha, ce vetra ne maras, ne smes v ta predel.
Ob objektu se zbirajo domacini, kateri so izredno glasni in moteci.zbirati se pricnejo ze zjutraj okoli 6.00 ter cez celi dan.
Slabost je tudi,da apartma nima oken s šipami, kar pomeni,da v apartmaju nimas zasebnosti.
Motece je tudi, da je v apartmaju izredno svetlo,saj si ne mores napraviti teme.
V apartmaju ni hladilnika, kar se mi zdi slabo.
Klima v najinem apartmaju ni bila potrebna, tudi ce bi bila.
