Accommodation was perfect for the amount I paid. As a backpacker travelling on a budget, I got the comfort of Airconditioning on new beds. Staff were present when I checked in but only spoke to them again when I checked out (which I enjoyed). Nice little backpacker spot with a rooftop to wind down on with some beers :)
New establishment so a bit more decors would be nice.
The hotel is easy to find, close to the beach, and the room and common areas are quite clean
6500 LKR (22 USD at the time of check-in) for a room with a shared bathroom (to brush your teeth or use the toilet, you have to go into the common area), a window that fully opens onto the shared balcony, and an air conditioner that, even after running for several hours at 16 degrees, leaves the room hotter than the outside in May in Trincomalee (around 30 degrees outside). You always have to look for the staff, as there is no one regularly at the reception or in the common areas. There is Wi-Fi, but it’s not very good; you’ll need to use mobile internet for video calls without delays. Breakfasts are offered, but they are brought from a nearby cafe, so there’s little point in it. And all this for 22 dollars in Trincomalee, where you can find much better options for this price. One of the worst accommodation disappointments in Sri Lanka. I will avoid this hotel on my next trip

My first night there the ac didn’t really work so it was quite hot, but as soon as mentioned to the staff they changed my rooms and it worked perfectly. Also the WiFi didn’t work at all unfortunately. Otherwise all good
We loved our stay here the owner is super friendly and helpful and really made the stay for us. Rooms are clean and comfortable and it’s so close to the beach! A little out of the restaurants and bars but there’s loads of tuk tuk available and we rented a scooter so it was no problem. Thanks so much for having us!
