House Restaurant is closed Sunday & Monday nights each week and on Tuesdays in low season ( January, February, March, April, October, November, December - with the exception of Christmas and mid-term breaks).

The bar restaurant is open daily.

Please note pets are welcome in secure facilities in the underground car park only. Pets are not allowed in the rooms.

Pros:

A really top class get away break

Relaxed, friendly weekend stay
Pros:

The staff were friendly and efficient, nothing was too much trouble.
Rooms were spotlessly clean and beds so comfortable.
There was a quiet relaxed atmosphere

Cons:

I think they could improve the small exercise area.
Too many machines crowded in a small room, it would be better to have less cardio machines and some weights and a bench instead in my opinion

A home by the sea
Pros:

Location, views and proximity to the sea. Terric views of the sea with ghe waves crashing on the rocks below. The staff were helpful and friendly, making us feel very much at home.

Cons:

The bar area could be improved with the bar now nearly fully set out like a restaurant. It is all a bit too formal and has lost a relaxing bar feel. This is also true of the menu. It is a bit formal and not a bar menu. Still managed to enjoy it though.

The views, restaurant, helpful staff and restaurant

Cons:

The heating was not working in the room on the night of the stay. The hotel staff promptly brought a heater but the room was cold when we came back after dinner.

Beautiful location, stunning view from the room, the facilities in the room were lovely and the decor was gorgeous

Cons:

I thought the food options in the bar could be expanded and some of the waiting staff needed further training.

Pros:

Beautiful hotel, very helpful and friendly staff. The bedroom was very comfortable and quiet apart from the sound of the sea crashing off the rocks! Fantastic!
Lovely bar food, drinks and breakfast.
I will definitely be looking forward to another visit.

It was disappointing as it fell well short of the 5 star promise.
Pros:

Breakfast was excellent. View from the bedroom and balcony outstanding. The bedroom and bathroom were both fine

Cons:

It was not a 5 star experience. Michelin star restaurant was closed and food in the bar was disappointing. Staff were lovely and friendly but were not trained to 5 star level. The premises needs some money spent on it as it is rather tired looking

Overall our stay was very very good. We were let down by the food. Other than that it was very very nice
Pros:

Bedroom was amazing.. the bed was extremely comfortable. The reception staff were amazing from the moment we checked in.

Cons:

The food was average definitely not worth the price you pay. The dessert was a massive let down. Tasted like it was microwaved for too long. Was very chewy and dry
