Luxurious, small and friendly hotel in Laxey - can't wait to return.
Pros:

We loved everything about The Shore. It is located a stones throw from the beach, beside the river in the lovely village of Laxey. The hotel has a very high end feel and we had a beautifully appointed bedroom with luxurious bathroom, they really have thought of everything. The hotel manager, Bev made us feel genuinely welcome and James the restaurant manager looked after us so well at both breakfast and dinner it really enhanced our stay. Dinner was fabulous, they have an amazing chef and the restaurant has very attentive staff. We will definitely return as this hotel is a real gem.

Cons:

There was nothing at all we didn't like, everything was splendid.

Pros:

Our stay in Laxey was wonderful. We enjoyed meals in the restaurant and pub and all were wonderful.Thank you to Bev and James for taking care of us. Much appreciated. And be sure to call Ian's Taxi, visit the Laxey Beach Cafe and Tmthe Laxey Woollen Mill.

Great location and room
Pros:

Great breakfast but don’t like having to choose breakfast the day before!!

Cons:

We ordered a 7.30 breakfast but the manager forgot to tell the kitchen. No problem - we were fed eventually.

Pros:

We stayed here on the night of our wedding and the staff made us feel very welcome, adding to what was a fantastic day. The breakfast in the morning was great and the location is fantastic.

Cons:

Breakfast service was a little slow but made up for by it's quality.

Great hotel, great food, great staff … well recommended
Pros:

All the staff were welcoming and friendly, especially Bev, Hotel Manager who made sure we had everything we needed.
The breakfast and restaurant meals were delicious and highly recommended.
