We enjoyed our stay and we will be back next year👍
Pros:

The location was excellent. The amenities were spot on. Very clean and someone attending to our room each day.The door security was explained to us in detail and we had no problems letting ourselves in late at night. The continental breakfast was superb. We recommend this property to anyone wishing to stay at Shanklin. The view from our window was magnificent.

Basic. Great location
Pros:

Loved its quaint vibe, loved our room that i suspect had been recently refurbished to a high standard, Breakfast is outstanding. Not to be missed!

Cons:

Was a bit disappointed with the reception as it was hardly ever manned. Steve is a great and interesting person once you get to know him, however he could probably do with a manager who is customer facing. The hotel is tired in many places although I understand it is a recent purchase with lots if work going on outside. Disappointed to not have a working lift, bar not open, swimming pool empty and very little to amuse during the stay.

Pros:

Wonderful location, lovely hotel. This time we stayed for the IoW Festival. Rooms were very clean and have everything you need. Steve, the owner, was super helpful and friendly and puts on a great breakfast! This was our second time staying and we’re looking forward to more.

Great up and coming hotel
Pros:

Lovely hotel the room was exceptional room 9 huge room amazing views and super comfortable bed. Steve and team were brilliant hosts. Amazing breakfast too.

Cons:

It's being refurbished the bar was closed would have been nice to get a drink before we went out

Pros:

Beautiful historic property. Beautiful view. Steve is an obliging host. Very good breakfast

Location was good. Breakfast alright. Staff helpful.

Cons:

Since hotel is being refurbished some facilities are missing. For example, no possibility of an evening meal, no bar, no swimming pool, although we understand they will be available in time. Steve was helpful.
