Værterne var helt fantastiske - søde, venlige og altid med et smil og et godt råd for, hvad vi kunne bruge dagen på. Morgenmaden var lækker og mættende og da min kæreste havde fødselsdag, hjalp de gladeligt med at lave en kage for mig. De er virkelig den sødeste familie at bo hos.

Outstanding Hospitality

The most memorable aspect of Sanu Villa is the heartfelt kindness of the owners. They treat every guest—local and foreign alike—like a member of their own family. Their warmth and genuine care are truly touching, and they are always available to help with anything you need. They went above and beyond to assist with arrangements, including organizing a village tour for us, which made our trip even more special. This level of personalized, supportive service is a rare find and a huge reason why I never regretted choosing this villa.

Comfortable and Clean Accommodation

The villa itself is a delight. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well-maintained, offering a comfortable and peaceful retreat. The beds are cozy, and we slept soundly without any issues. The bathroom is also super clean and comes with all the necessary amenities. The attention to detail in cleanliness, from the linens to the entire room, is evident and makes for a very pleasant stay.

Prime Location and Great Value

Sanu Villa is also perfectly situated for exploring the area. It's very close to the Sigiriya World Heritage site and other historic landmarks. You'll also find shops and the main road nearby, making it convenient to get around. Considering the top-notch hospitality, cleanliness, and excellent location, this villa is absolutely worth the money.

Overall, my time at Sanu Villa was incredibly enjoyable. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Sigiriya. If I ever return, there's no doubt this will be my place to stay.

-Cette maison d’hôtes est tenu par une famille. La maman vit sur place et parle un anglais suffisant pour qu’on puisse se comprendre. Et sinon son fils est très disponible par whatsapp s’il y a d’autres questions ou demande d’information.
-La chambre est grande, le lit est très confortable, tout est si propre qu’on se sent vraiment bien, la clim et la wifi marche très bien aussi.
-J’ai pris tous mes petit-déjeuners et mes dîners sur place, c’est la maman qui cuisine, les portions sont gigantesques.

This is one of the BEST stays we have had so far in Sri Lanka. The rooms are beautiful, very clean and comfortable. We slept very well during our stay. It was so peaceful and quiet.

The whole family were so kind, caring and welcoming! They were always there when you needed anything and made you feel at home.We even did a cooking class with the whole family which was a great experience.

Lucky for us we got invited to go with them to a local party to celebrate Sinhalese new year and it was an amazing local experience which we will not forget.

The breakfast was different everyday and very delicious. The villa is also very close to some great places to eat.

You can also rent bicycles and scooters which is a great way to get around at your own leisure. We hired bicycles and went out on some beautiful rides in nature.

They also offer elephant Safari 😊
