Wonderful hospitality, good food and the friendly staff will help you arrange anything you need. Clean, safe for female travellers, highly recommend. Dragon supermarket 2 mins walk.

Cons:

If you like soft beds, the beds here are very firm.

From the moment we arrived until the day we left, every single member of the team made us feel genuinely welcomed. Their warmth, kindness, and eagerness to help never felt like a part of their job - it came straight from the heart. What truly sets this place apart is how every guest is treated with personal care and importance.

A special thank you to Mr. Arnab and Ms. Annu, whose hospitality was exceptional. They made sure every little detail was taken care of, always checked in with a smile, and ensured that each guest felt valued and comfortable. It's rare to come across people who make hospitality feel this personal, and they truly made our stay even more memorable.

And the food deserves a standing ovation! Every meal was delicious, but the Aloo Chokha and Dal Rice were pure comfort on a plate - simple, authentic, and hands down some of the best we had during our trip.

Thank you, El Castello, for making Leh feel like a home away from home. You've earned lifelong guests, and there's no doubt that this will be our stay every single time we're back in Leh. Until we meet again! 🏔️❤️✨

I had a very comfortable stay at Hotel eL Castello. The hotel is a few min walk from the Leh market. Every single staff member at the hotel is friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and clean. The food was very good and served quickly. The hotel managers also have great recommendations for the trip and are very helpful.Thank you for the warm hospitality. An excellent hotel that punches above its weight
Pros:

The excellent service and courteous staff made us feel really welcome. We stayed for three nights, and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The rooms with balconies were comfortable and spacious, the restaurant's food at lunch and dinner were fantastic, and it was nice to have an inviting lobby to hang out in when we wanted to step out of our rooms.
This hotel is really close to the bustling market area, so you're close to all kinds of shops, restaurants, and bars. Given that and the quality of rooms + service, this offers exceptional value for money.

Cons:

The limited breakfast spread and the taste of individual items were a downer. Also, the hotel's location makes it impossible to park cars or even motorcycles within the premises. They do have a parking lot nearby (just up the street), but it would've been nice if they could fix the approach to at least allow bikes into the spacious lot just in front of the hotel.

Overall Great. go for the balcony view and hospitality.
Cons:

The only issue with the place is parking. parking is not on prem. its away from the hotel and its a good 300m away.. so if there are elderly people with you, its hard to navigate. but the staff is extremely helpful and will get your luggage and escort you to the hotel. they will make sure they balance out the parking inconvenience but for the amount you pay, this hotel is exceptional.. the only other point i can think of is that the breakfast spread is very pedestrian. that should be improved if you want to attract more customers.

Prima verblijf paar verbeter punten ,personeel verdient een 10.
Pros:

Het personeel was echt geweldig, goede ontbijt opties, afmetingen van de kamer en douche .

Cons:

De locatie bij booking.com klopt niet, ligt verder van het centrum erg slordig, kamer was erg warm bijna hele dag zon airco werkte niet echt goed, kamer koelde niet goed af. Warm water was erg snel op, na 1 a 2 minuten.

We had a comfortable stay, polite staff, good breakfast and close to the market.
Pros:

Rooms are spacious and have all the facilities. Staff are courteous and polite.

Cons:

The entrances is through a narrow lane but the property sends staff to carry all the luggage.
