The property itself is quite nice. The location is peaceful, the surroundings are scenic, and the resort has a pleasant, well-maintained atmosphere. The rooms and common areas were clean, and the overall ambience of the resort gives a relaxing hill-station feel. From an infrastructure and aesthetic point of view, the property has good potential.
The main issue was communication and staff handling. We checked in around 2 a.m., and there was only one staff member available who did not speak Malayalam or English, only Hindi, which made the check-in process unnecessarily difficult.
The next morning at the restaurant, we sat down only to have coffee. Without taking any order or explaining anything, a staff member started serving food at our table. Since no explanation was given, we assumed it was complimentary. After we had the food, we were unexpectedly presented with a bill. When we explained the situation, the staff blamed us instead of acknowledging the miscommunication.
In Kerala, basic Malayalam or English communication from staff is essential for a smooth guest experience. While the property itself is good, the lack of proper communication, clarity, and professional handling significantly affected our stay.
Staff's were really nice and welcoming. Food was tasty. Preferences been addressed promptly and done right away. Location was really awesome with mountain views was pleasant and relaxing
It was rainy season and the route is steeper, Better suggestion is to reach the resort soon before 7 PM since the route is covered with mists and it is hard to drive
Nice location, okok food. Double rooms were spacious with 2-3 sets of beds. Single rooms were congested.
The main pool was under maintenance at the time of our stay which was major bummer for us.
