Pros:

Maza un mājīga istabiņa ar galvenajām nepieciešamajām lietām. Ļoti patika istabas attēli ar dabu un tāda dabiskā sajūta, kas radās tur uzturoties. Apkārt diezgan kluss, jūra vai Rojas upes taka mazas pastaigas attālumā. Brokastis var paēst vai nu turpat blakus viesnīcai, vai arī netālu ir vairāki veikali. Saimniece laipna un atsaucīga.

Comfortable enough for a short stay, walking distance to the beach and few restaurants in Roja
Pros:

Great location with free parking. Everything is walkable from the hotel as Roja is small. Rooms were OK, comfortable enough although only had a one night stay.

Cons:

Feels a bit dated, no fridge in the room (there is a communal fridge) and the garden area which looks really nice is a little off limits due to the dog. Not a big issue but if you wanted to walk around it was advised not to.

Šī noteikti nav negatīva atsauksme, jo mūsu uzturēšanās laikā viss bija ļoti labi! 😊

Vienīgais ieteikums – būtu ļoti noderīgi numura aprakstā norādīt, ka numurā ir pieejama tējkanna, glāzes, kafijas krūzes un galda piederumi. Tas būtu noderīgi potenciālajiem viesiem un ļautu izvairīties no nevajadzīgas liekas bagāžas līdzi ņemšanas.

Looks better than what it actually is.
Pros:

The best parts about this hotel:
- Great location. Right in the centre of Roja, not far from the beach and shops. The beach is amazing and the shops sell some great, fresh fish.
- Good staff. The babushka at the reception is very friendly and welcoming.
- It has its own private parking.

Cons:

I stayed in a pretty big room and bathroom had a proper bath. There was a smart TV with Youtube and Netflix access.

However:
- The windows at the ceiling had no curtains. Latvian summers are usually very bright with very little night-time, given it is fairly up North. This meant my room was almost always bright.
- There is no A/C unit in the room. With constant sunshine the room get really warm. You can open the windows, but there are no mosquito nets, so you are trading one inconcenience for another.
- The TV has the worst design for a remote control. It is operated by the sunlight battery and runs out of energy withing 1 minute. You literally cannot operate the TV, unless you keep it connected to the charging port non-stop.
- The room has no refrigerator. It is in the lobby. So if you want to keep some food/drinks, you will need to leave the room and go to the lobby to collect it.
- You need to lock the main hotel door when you leave and unlock when returning.

There are a few other minor nagging issues (like a huge dog on the loose at the back of the hotel), but no point in dwelling on them. I was really looking forward to coming here, but after 3 nights I was happy to check out.

Nice place to stay while visiting the coastal area of Latvia
Pros:

The hotel was located in the centre of the town, there was a car park within the hotel and it was free to park. The owner met me and gave a good overview of the hotel. The room was very clean and good quality wifi. Very quiet

Real pearl in Roja
Pros:

Very warm welcome by the host, arranged extra things for our baby. Freshly renovated rooms exceptionally clean and cosy. Beautiful view from the balcony on the top of of the pines. Free parking for guests.
