the location of the Golden Plough is perfect to walk around Peddler's Village and enjoy the Christmas lights and shop in all the stores. We also walked to dinner at Nearby Cock & Bull restaurant from the Inn. The Buttonwood Grill is attached to the Hotel, so we did not even need to put on coats to get breakfast the next morning. The room was very spacious and comfortable with a nice sitting area in addition to the very comfortable beds.
Parking for the hotel is minimal, we were lucky to get a spot behind the hotel . If we hadn't we would have had to go across the street on a slippery walk. Also, there are stairs to get into the hotel , and I did not see a way to avoid using them. Perhaps there is handicap access at the rear of the hotel, but I did not see any directions or signs indicating that.
Very convenient location was great hotel was clean. Staff was friendly. I like that we were secluded good rooms
The property was very clean , the beds were super comfy and the location was perfect , was very easy to walk to all the stores and restaurants in Peddlers Village !
Nothing
Very nice room.
Too far from main building.
Everything was lovely-class act!
that we didn't stay longer
location was amazing
no roomservice for food
We enjoyed walking the grounds and the shops. We weren’t aware there was an Apple festival which is likely why we paid over 400 for a room probably worth 100 of that per night.
Room was dated and incredibly old. Stains on carpeting beds were so over used. Stains in the tub. Overall pretty gross
Beautiful setting.
Difficulty finding parking on arrival
The room was clean, comfortable, and nicely maintained.
Free parking as well.
The property feels more like a village than a traditional hotel, as it is quite spread out. It was difficult to locate the entrance to the main building for check-in, and once we did, we had to drive to our room. After settling in, we also needed to drive or walk to a nearby restaurant for food.
The rooms are set up like small apartments along a street, which means you may hear some road noise. Aside from that, the room itself was clean, comfortable, and nicely maintained.
The website claims it's walking distance from all city attraction - but that isn't acurate. They It's 4.5 miles to main street of New Hope.
Very good restaurant attached to the Inn. Food was great and convenient location.
Assigned parking space was inconvenient distance from Inn and no ramp for handicapped and rolling luggage.
Excellent location, ample parking, smooth check-in and check-out.
Dirty bathroom & shower floor, old spring mattress, property generally run-down.
The convenience to other spots of interest
There were stains on the carpet in our room. We were disturbed by the noise of music playing late at night. We were able to hear the people next door talking as though they were in the same room as us.
Spacious, bright with all the windows and loved the fireplace.
Difficult to find our room. In a separate building from the main Inn across the Village.
My room was quite nice. It was large and had an updated bathroom.
The mattress had a literal sink hole in the middle! It felt like I was stuck in a trough. Definitely need to replace that mattress. Carpeting in hall and room could use replacing.
Location and history
Room was large but definitely showing its age
