Green Lander Ubud

It is a very peaceful place surrounded by rice fields. At night, you can enjoy the sounds of nature, including frogs croaking and birds singing. It is the perfect place to relax and escape the rush of city life. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and everything was well maintained. I especially enjoyed the hammock and the swimming pool.

The experience of staying at this place was one of the kind. The accommodation was built from natural sources using traditional methods and we felt closer to the nature. The place is close to some cafes and restaurants in a walking distance. It is close enough to the city center, yet secluded from the crowd. Staffs were friendly and the service was good.

Truely an all bamboo experience, and we especially loved the outdoor bathroom and private pool. Our little daughter is still talking about „her Bali home“, days after our return home. The staff was incredibly hospitable and took good care of anything we needed. Always with a big smile.

Great view and service. All staffs are amazing. The pool looks great. Fun experience with local cultural. Breakfast are nice and fresh coffe.

Our stay at this resort was truly unforgettable. The place itself is absolutely beautiful - very exclusive, peaceful, quiet, and perfectly surrounded by nature. But what truly made this experience exceptional was the incredible team behind it.

The level of care and attention we received was beyond anything we expected. The staff made us feel like we were the only guests in the resort, always available 24/7 and remembering every little detail about us. Their hospitality brought this experience to a completely different level - without them, it simply would not have been the same.

A very special thank you to Dev, Wayan, Jun, Ari, Selsa, Bodyl, Egon, and Febri. Every single one of them went the extra mile to make us feel like royalty.

We were especially touched by the beautiful arrangement they organized in the pool area so quickly and thoughtfully before we returned from our activities. It showed genuine care, effort, and attention that we will never forget.

This hotel is an escape, completely surreal in such a rural setting one can imagine! There is no road to the property it’s only accessible through a long walk from main road or a bike/scooter ride. It’s surrounded by rice padi fields and is as picturesque as they come. The bathroom and toilet, well I can’t even begin to describe those.

Très bel endroit au milieu des rizières, les bungalows sont très mignons avec petite piscine privative et salle de bain naturelle entourée de plantes.
On accède à cet hôtel uniquement par scooter ou à pied. Le service de l'hôtel permet de faire le petit trajet en scooter rapidement. Le personnel est vraiment très agréable et à l'écoute, joignable par WhatsApp à tout moment de la journée.
On y mange également très bien.

Konsepti harikaydı. Ormana bakan manzaralı havuz ve yatak odası vardı. Açık duş, küvet harikaydı. Çalışanlar mükemmeldi. Sinek böcek için her türlü önlemi alınmış fakat yine de orman ve pirinç tarlaları olduğu için sıfır böcek düşünmeyin. Göze alıyorsanız böyle bir konseptte konaklayın.

We absolutely loved our stay at The Green Lander in Ubud. From the moment we arrived, it felt like such a unique and luxurious hidden escape — like living in our own private jungle retreat. It honestly made us feel like rockstars, while still being peaceful and completely away from the hustle and bustle of central Ubud.

A huge thank you to Wayan and Catur at the front desk, who made us feel so welcome and looked after every detail with kindness and warmth. The bike riders were also incredible — always available to take us into town with a smile, making everything so easy and stress-free.

And the food… WOW. The chefs here are AMAZING. Genuinely the best burger and the best nasi goreng we had in all of Bali. We found ourselves looking forward to every meal.

If you want somewhere that feels luxurious, private, relaxing and truly special, while still having easy access to Ubud, this place is magic. We will absolutely be back.

After many trips and many hotels, I can say that Green Lander exceeded my expectations and pleasantly surprised me.
The surroundings, the room, the food, the landscape, the staff — absolutely everything takes you away from conventional tourism and gives you a few days of true rest and disconnection in the middle of while still being well connected and just a few minutes away from Ubud and its lively streets.
I would definitely recommend it, and I hope to come back very soon

De locatie! Je bent meteen in het centrum maar ligt toch wat afgezonderd in een oase van rust.
Het hotel personeel is zoooo lief! Ze zetten jou ook elke keer af aan het centrum.
Je slaapt echt in een bamboo paradijs! Ze doen er alles aan om het u zo comfortabel mogelijk te maken🫶🏼

Proximité avec le centre de Ubud : 30 minutes a pied (Ubud Palace, Campuhan Ridge Walk, Orange Sweet Walk), Monkey Forest à 45 min a pied.
Possibilité de louer des scooters à l'hôtel (ou de vous les faire livrer en passant directement par une agence). Multitude de taxi disponible au besoin. Grab possible (Grab = Uber en Indonésie). Dernier kilomètre pour accéder à l'hôtel qui est un petit chemin a travers les rizières.

My stay at The Green Lander Ubud was honestly unforgettable. The place is absolutely beautiful, peaceful, and surrounded by nature everywhere you look. Waking up and falling asleep to the sounds of the jungle, birds, rain, and flowing water gave me a level of calm I had not felt in a long time.

The architecture and design are stunning, blending perfectly with the environment while still feeling comfortable and unique. Every corner feels like a dream. The staff were incredibly kind, attentive, and welcoming throughout my stay, always making me feel cared for without being intrusive.

The food was also delicious, fresh, and full of local flavor. One of my favorite parts of the experience was taking showers in the open-air bathroom every day while listening to the sound of the rain falling around me. It felt incredibly relaxing, peaceful, and deeply connected to nature.

This was more than just a hotel stay, it felt like a personal reset. A perfect place to disconnect from stress and reconnect with peace, nature, and yourself.

If you are after a large resort with a swim up bar and buffet breakfast… this place is not for you. There is no kids club or beauty spa, nor is there a choice of pools or restaurants. HOWEVER, if you are looking for somewhere peaceful, nestled in nature and working rice paddies with the most attentive and amazing staff… then look no further. The entire property is a structural anomaly, crafted entirely from bamboo, surrounded by working rice fields and a little touch of the jungle. You will hear the sounds of geckos and frogs, chickens and roosters and also, if you’re lucky, witness the fire flies dancing in the night sky. It’s a little touch of paradise…. Yes, we saw some mosquitoes but if you are prepared, use the precautions provided and a little bit of common sense.. the impact is minimal. We’ve been to Bali too many times to keep count and can honestly say this place wins.. hands down. It’s private without feeling isolated and you will not find more helpful and happy staff to assist you with anything you need. They are more than happy to accommodate you with a quick scooter ride to the meeting point for a spot of shopping and when you are done, they will scoot you right back to the Villas where you will be greeted with a big smile and offers of any assistance to make your stay any better… if that is even possible here!! Breakfast is simple yet delicious with your choice of either Indonesian or American cuisine. I urge you to try the mango and strawberry fresh smoothies!! Room service is available with a variety of options and arrives hot , fresh and full of flavour and can be served to you next to your private pool. Extra towels or water is only a whatsapp message away. You wont be disappointed in any way staying with the team at Green Lander… it’s a little piece of old Bali, peaceful and simple yet luxurious in its own unique way. 1000% recommend.

We had an amazing experience at Green Lander. The property is unique, comfortable and the staff are incredibly caring. Being in the middle of rice fields, exposed to the abundance of nature sounds is a very special experience.
