What a gem - would definitely stay again
Pros:

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Thomas’s place. It was clean and relaxed. You could go straight onto the beach from the hotel and there were plenty of sunbeds. The pool was nice and clean. The beach was beautiful and quiet - what a gem. The breakfasts and dinners made by Thomas were delicious and copious. Everything was fresh and really nicely cooked. From large platters of fruit in the morning with eggs any way you wanted them done to delicious fresh tuna and lovely curries in the evening - this was by far the best food we had in our 3 weeks in Sri Lanka. A nice touch was the free water, tea and coffee we could help ourselves to all day. We really enjoyed our stay

Cons:

Perhaps a rail could be put up in the wardrobe in the room. Coat hangers were provided but we had to hang clothes on the frame of the wardrobe

Vieta nėra nauja, bet radome viską ko reikėjo. Puikus personalas. Labai skanus maistas, visas vakarienes valgėme vietoje - ypač patiko tuno kepsnys. Šalia nuošalus paplūdimys, mažai žmonių, viešbutis suteikia gultus ir skėčius. Vakarais galima rasti vėžlių netoliese. Jei kažkam reikia miestelio šurmulio, su daug parduotuvių šalia - čia ne ta vieta. Jei norisi ramybės - tobula vieta.

Pros:

Direct aan het strand. Kamers met uitzicht over het strand. Bedjes en parasols op het strand. En het diner is echt heerlijk. Personeel erg behulpzaam en vriendelijk.

Cons:

Daar je aan het strand zit is het geluid van de golven, in de nacht, heel hard. Waardoor de slaap vaten wat moeilijke was. Maar daar kan de eigenaar niets aan doen.

Instant beach hapiness 🙂
Pros:

Alles, erg mooi hotel met een chille jaren ‘70 Beach vibe aan een rustig idyllisch strand, de hoteleigenaar is supervriendelijk en behulpzaam, het ontbijt is fantastisch.

Cons:

Hier was echt nièts dat me niet beviel.

Good place to relax and eat great fish meals
Pros:

It’s clean, peaceful and has an incredible staff. Drinking water, tea/coffee and frukt availible for free. Breakfast with a lot of fresh fruit, omelett,/eggs and bread + tea/coffee. You can borrow body boards.
Thómas and his staff takes extra ordinary care of every guest!. A great place to stay if you enjoy a guide and peaceful environment. Turtle hatching on the beach in the night time.

Beachfront bliss with exceptional hospitality
Pros:

A lovely beachfront hotel with incredible ocean views from the balconies. Sun lounges are right out front, plus there’s a pool if you feel like mixing it up. It’s an easy walk to local restaurants, though you may not want to leave as the owner is an incredible chef with years of hospitality experience in Australia, and the included breakfasts are abundant and delicious. There’s also a good café next door, and Talalla Retreat just up the beach for yoga drop-ins and day spa treatments. A wonderful base with everything you need close by, an including a nearby café supporting street dog healthcare. Make sure you check out the fishermen bringing in their catch just after dawn.

100% recommend! The best kind of laid-back beach stay, with a sea breeze and ocean view from bed.
Pros:

This place was PERFECT! Beautiful beach with a few wonderful little restaurants. The rooms are all lovely and beachy, and you can stare at the sea from your bed. The host went out of his way to make our stay comfortable, and we loved that we could help ourselves to tea and coffee anytime. We were able to get a Tuk-Tuk to busier beaches within 10-15 minutes for surfing. Highly recommend.

Cons:

If you want a busy beach setup with loads of restaurants, bars, hotels and activity, this might be too quiet for you. We wanted a bit of peace and quiet so it was perfect for us.

Pros:

Unbelievable location. Local swimming with turtles and free use of body boards.. Absolutely delicious breakfast. Freely available coffee and water. Very helpful hotel staff and amazing evening meals-especially the catch of the day cooked by the very talented Thomas.

Some traffic noise but mainly counteracted by the sound of the sea

Pros:

Staff were unbelievably accommodating. Food was tremendous and the view from the room was stunning. We eat in the hotel both nights. The tuna was amazing. We loved listening to the waves breaking every night whilst laying in bed

Secluded beach getaway
Pros:

This place is fantastic. You can literally hear the ocean as you fall asleep and it's on a secluded beach. Breakfast is great and the staff are extremely attentive, kind, and you can tell they enjoy hosting guests. On most nights, dinner is also available and is very tasty and fresh. Pool is great, the balconies all have great views. There is AC in the rooms, but the sea breeze is generally good enough to stay cool. Great place to relax.
