Donkey clinic and education center

La chambre était très confortable, propre et fonctionnelle.

Charming place, particularly with the friendly donkeys. The staff are exceptionally warm and welcoming. The room was nicer than most, with good AC. Very quiet. It's about a kilometer from the main road. I enjoyed sitting in the outdoor area. I took a scooter from Mannar, and that is a great way to visit this whole area.

Les enfants ont adoré séjourner dans une clinique pour les ânes. Le jardin est clos et sécurisé c'est confortable en famille.

Sehr gepflegte Anlage, geräumige, saubere Zimmer . Wir haben ein leckeres Abendessen gekocht bekommen. Der Leiter der Esel-Klinik war sehr freundlich, hat uns nützliche Tipps gegeben. Mit Herzblut leitet der die Esel-Klinik. Mit einem Aufenthalt dort unterstützt man das Projekt

This place is just amazing! The room is clean, comfortable and has everything you need. There is breakfast, lunch and dinner available which is just incredible.
The whole team is super friendly and helpful, especially the owner. We got a presentation and tour of the donkey clinic and the work they do here for the animals. Their dedication to the donkeys is just incredible.
Mannar is a really good place for birdwatching. With the tip of the owner on where to go we even managed to see flamingos.
Can only recommend staying here!

Location and hospitality.

喜歡農場氛圍,烏類生態非常豐富,满满地休閒風.

I stayed for two nights and had a very nice time. Birdwatching in this area was my only interest. It's run by a lovely family and the owner turned out to be a very good birdtourguide himself. In the early morning he took us out watching in the nearby reserve. Furthermore the stay offered a basic room, motorbike rental to explore the rest of the island and probably the best cooked meals I tasted in Sri Lanka 🙏
My time here was well spend and the location is easily reachable by public busses and renting the motorbike was a good option for me to explore the rest of the island in one day. Value for money is outstanding. Oh, they have donkeys and I fell in love with them eventually and so will you...

Posto fantastico sia per la camera, il posto in generale e i servizi, sia per il progetto di salvare gli asini.
Lo staff ci ha dato il benvenuto con una bevanda fresca e ci ha fatto una bella presentazione del centro e della situazione degli asini sull’isola di Mannar. È stato molto interessante.
Gli asini sono tenuti benissimo e sono anche amichevoli.
La famiglia può cucinare anche i pasti
È la struttura perfetta per stare a Mannar.

Nice place to stay and explorer the city

Clean and comfortable room. Amazing delicious local food. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. Calm and beautiful property. And what these guys are doing for the Donkeys and other animals is just amazing. Support them and stay here, it's absolutely worth it!

Logement atypique, chambre d'hôtes dans une clinique d'âne, nous avons donc rencontré les ânes.
L'hôte nous a très bien accueilli et expliqué ce qu'il faisaient dans la clinique.

Alle sind sehr nett. Dass Essen ist Lecker das Zimmer sehr sauber.

Sehr schöner ruhiger Ort. Direkt bei en Eseln. Die Betreiber waren sehr nett und haben alles super erklärt. Das Essen vor Ort war super lecker!

The clinic is amazing, so are the hosts. It’s a bit of a random location on Mannar Island with all points of interest about 20-30 minutes but so worth staying here a night or two. They also made us brilliant food and the room was super comfortable too.
