The staff were just amazing. The rooms and the location were out of this place. So amazing and relaxing.

Sehr freundliches Personal, sehr reichhaltiges Frühstückbüffet mit Brot-Omelette-tropische Früchte-guter Kaffee-Tee-weisse Bohnen- Cerealien etc etc., auch das Nachtessen im Restaurant war superlecker, direkter Blick auf den Kivusee, im Badezimmer standen Hygieneartikel zur Verfügung und ein Getränk wurde auch bereitgestellt.
Schade, dass wir nach nur einer Nacht weiter mussten.

The staff was SUPER friendly! They’re just amazing and very concerned with your comfort. The lakes’ view was something breathtaking. I just feel bad I couldn’t give any tips (it was the end of my stay and there is no ATM nearby). They also arranged a nice short boat trip. Thank you again for the nice stay and kindness. I do recommend!

Great place to sleep before hiking in National Park

Location convenient, if you arrive at airport. Available early check-in, also was proposed breakfast for check-in day, for $6. I had a room with a view to the lake. WiFi was not working in my room, but I was provided mobile modem, which for me was even better, because I had connection all the stay. Administrator Giselle was exceptional: she was always available, happy to assist, and helped me with personal stuff problem.

Peace guest house is well maintained, filled with good stuffs and service. Have good view,and have options for different budgets.
I loved that they had an amazing fire place near the shore, good security and 24/7 stuff service.
I loved the way Thierry handled us everyone, as well Samuel, who had been active to execute every request we had, irrespective of time.

I had a wonderful experience at Peace Guest House. From the moment I arrived until I left the staff were very helpful and friendly, especially Thierry who showed me a nearby spot to go swimming in the lake. Hot water and shower pressure were great, food was yummy and the room was very comfortable. The whole place truly provides peace and quiet, it was great.

The guest house is located on a beautiful property and has many rooms overlooking Lake Kivu. Our group had 8 rooms booked in the new annex and all 8 had the lake view. The view from the balconies was spectacular, especially in the morning when the wooden fishing boat triads (3 boats attached by bowed wooden poles) came into the harbour, fishermen chanting and singing as they paddled.

The staff were friendly, attentive and accommodating. The rooms were clean, beds comfortable.

We had two dinners there. The first one, I ordered the whole baked Tilapia and it was excellent - caught fresh the same day, perfectly seasoned, tender and delicious. The second meal was a buffet which was not as good, but reasonably priced.

I also was very pleased with the price of the rooms - very good value for the money! We chose to stay here as our base for activities in the Nyungwe Forest. It was about a 45 minute drive to the main visitor centre in the park, but well worth it for the price and the lake view!
