Pros:

We have visited Marvao several times before but this was our first stay at this hotel. The staff informed us at check-in that it’s no longer being managed by the Pestana group but by the same local family that owns other properties in town. This may mean that it’s going through a transition. The location is central and the views to the east are stunning. We had a lovely room and overall a good experience.

Cons:

The breakfast was quite meager.

Idealne miejsce na wypoczynek w pięknym otoczeniu
Pros:

Przepiękna lokalizacja, wygodne pokoje, smaczne śniadanie.
Muszę podkreślić, że personel hotelowy był niezmiernie pomocny. W sytuacji kiedy była potrzebna pomoc (problemy ze zdrowiem) panie z recepcji bardzo się zaangażowały; bez ich pomocy ciężko byłoby nam samym rozwiązać problem.

Rustic charm.
Pros:

Great location, parking nearby and was quiet and comfortable.

Cons:

Hotel and the bedroom needed much better heating, we visited a cold and wet February and the heat system was struggling to maintain a good temperature.

Localização insuperável, uma das mais bonitas de Portugal. Funcionários do melhor que há em termos de simpatia e eficiência. Restaurante de grande qualidade.

Cons:

Quando uma reserva é feita, o quarto devia ser aquecido antes do hóspede chegar. O quarto era um gelo, só de manhã estava razoavelmente agradável em termos de temperatura.
