Our experience at Simal Lodge was honestly very disappointing.

We arrived at the property late at night, expecting at least a basic level of hospitality and organisation. Unfortunately, there was no one there to welcome us, no clear instructions, and no assistance whatsoever. We were essentially left stranded in the middle of the night, which felt unsafe and extremely unprofessional.

Cons:

After a long journey, the last thing any guest should deal with is confusion and lack of support upon arrival. A lodge should prioritise guest safety and ensure that check-in arrangements are clear—especially for late arrivals.

This experience gave the impression of poor communication and lack of proper management, which completely overshadowed what could have been a pleasant stay.

I would strongly advise the lodge to improve their guest coordination, communication, and after-hours reception process, as this is a basic expectation in the hospitality industry.
