Perfect getaway
Pros:

Lovely little hotel that allows you to escape from the hustle and bustle. The staff are exceptional - nothing is too much trouble and they are so helpful and polite. The hotel is just opposite the sand dunes and beach and set in a quiet location about a couple of miles from Weston Super Mare. There is plenty of parking outside the hotel. The rooms are well equipped, including a little fridge and a fan which were really welcome in the heatwave. The beds are extremely comfy too. Continental breakfast was included in the price which was just enough for us, although they do offer a cooked breakfast too. We have staying at this hotel several times, and will hopefully stay there again and again. Highly recommended

The shower cubicle could do with a soap dish.

A quiet hotel right by the sea with beautiful views.
Pros:

Beautiful views.
Location.
Soft fluffy towels.
Helpful staff.
Food from "the salt rock" at the hotel was great.

Cons:

Better if the bar stayed open later for guests (we returned at 9.45 after watching the sunset on the beach and would have liked another drink).
Mini pastries with breakfast would be better.
A noisy delivery to the bar very early the next morning woke me up.

South Sands Hotel is a relaxed vibe.
Pros:

Wonderfully calm, peaceful seaside location with gorgeous sunsets. Staff were friendly, happy, welcoming, people. Decor was inspiringly coastal theme. Beautiful room with amazing views.
Lots of onsite parking. Open top bus every 30mins to Weston. Good paths for walking plus it’s on the England Coast Path. Amazing woodland walk through to Weston and beyond.

Cons:

My only dislike was the king size mattress which had seen better days.
Continental breakfast lacked imagination.

Very clean quiet hotel ideal for people who just want to chill,not Greta for family’s who want to go out and wander as n
Pros:

Property is actually very nice and clean

Cons:

It was so hot and when I went down to ask for a fan about 10pm everyone was gone and place totally locked up so had very uncomfortable hot sleep
Breakfast was 8.30 am on a Sunday which was way too late for us, when up about 7.30 lots of guests were up and about but no way to get a drink or anything before 8.30
Booking.con have it listed as a hotel is Weston-super-mate it’s not and not much about so ideal if you just want a lazy quiet night away but not if you want to go out for a wander
