A Stay to Forget - Do Not Recommend
Pros:

Good location. Nice foyer and bar. Bed linen clean.

Cons:

Overall, this has been one of the most disappointing hotel experiences, and I would not recommend staying here.
The hotel is dated..Room looked initially ok but it was grubby,, stains on furnishings and wood work. No view.
Breakfast was very poor. Limited choices and when I ordered poached eggs and bread toast. I was told to make the make the toast myself. 2 Poached eggs came out with nothing else on the plate - not very appetising.

Perfect Stay
Pros:

Amazing breakfast, food was top class in general. Staff were professional and very friendly. Max and the bartender (didn't get the name unfortunately) are a credit to the business. Having spent almost 30 years as a senior hotel manager, it was a delight to see such great service. Room was street facing but very quiet overnight, bed was comfortable. Certainly will be staying again. Highly recommended.

Pros:

Staff were great - nothing was a problem. room and hotel were spotless and well looked after.

Cons:

No AC in the room - that said was the hottest day of the year otherwise wouldn't have been a concern - thisis a personal opinion and didnt impact my stay.
