Perfect.
Pros:

The surrounding forest was great to walk from the front door of the lovely hotel. Rooms are amazing. Breakfast excellent. Staff friendly and helpful. So warm and welcoming this hotel is such good value. Would hope to stay here again.

My favourite place .
Pros:

I love maibie house . I have written there for a lot of years now. The staff are brilliant and courteous, helpful, friendly. It feels like going home each time I go there. Its very comfortable, rooms , throughout, lovley warm fire. Fantastic food , good prices.

Great location for the Gallovidian Gravel cycle route. We used it as our base; stayed first and last nights and left our van here.

Beautiful hotel in great location and grounds. Superb value for money
Pros:

Perfect location for Gallovidian Gravel bike ride. Used this as our initial base and left the van there to collect on return (and stayed another night)

An absolute gem
Pros:

The hotel was far better than we expected. A real country house in a superb location in the forest. The evening meal and the breakfast were superb. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The upstairs was straight out of "Faulty Towers" in a good way, with lots of red carpeting, lots of landings and lots of doors. Loved it.

Cons:

The bedroom was very small and the toilet was down the landing.

A quaint Scottish getaway on a budget
Pros:

It is in a truly gorgeous location - the views and ground are stunning. The staff were brilliant and very attentive. The bed was the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in!! We had dinner one of the nights and the food was delicious.

Cons:

There were dead flies on two out of three windows in our suite and a dark hair in the bed when we first got into the room. The toilet didn’t flush properly (they did get this fixed once we told them about it). The bedroom of our suite was all deep red and the lighting wasn’t quite bright enough so it was perpetually dark and difficult to get ready in.

Pros:

All very nice for a 1 night stay

Cons:

Being a dog freindly hotel there was no where outside to dispose of dog toilet so we took it away in the car on our next 5 hour journey ok but not very nice.

Fabulous location. Lovely breakfast. Beautiful house and grounds. Feels like a grand country house. Will def be back

Cons:

My only gripe was that there is no bar area to relax and have drinks. The bar is situated within restuarant and seems only to be avail for diners

The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and breakfast as lovely. The grounds and surrounding area are exceptionally beautiful.
