I stayed for 2 nights the room was cleaned once only and the room smelt bad at first when we checked in and the cleaner i asked to come in half an hour and she didn’t come back which left me with the room uncleaned

Two of the three rooms we booked had sewer-like smells coming from the shower room. We were told it was a known issue, and looking at reviews, has been ongoing since early 2025. Hotels solution...run the shower to flush, which is a bandaid to the problem.

Professional and friendly staff throughout the hotel.
Although breakfast is served between 6.30 and 9.30 on week days we unfortunately experienced a shortage of certain breakfast items even though we were down for breakfast by 9 am. On both the mornings of our 2 night stay the berry compote and fruit salad had run out - I was informed that there was no fruit salad left but the serving staff did fetch some compote when asked. The large glass containers that hold the various fruit juices were all almost empty and it took an age to fill a glass from the dregs at the bottom.The scrambled eggs were very rubbery in texture ( as if they had been cooked and had been left in the warming tray for a long time). There were no hash browns and although the staff did bring out more when asked they were undercooked and very greasy. I would expect to receive the same choice and quality of breakfast when arriving for breakfast well within the time frame that breakfast is served. Very disappointed.
Great decor and nice room along with friendly staff
Everything was perfect. The most reasonable stay you will get in Leeds on a Saturday night. Central to everything and all facilities and room was pristine.
Only thing I can fault is the parking across the road is expensive even with the reduction.
Comfortable bed.
Horrendous smell of sewers in the rooms. Our friends moved rooms on arrival as the smell was so bad. Ours started to smell when we got in at night and overnight became almost unbearable.
The staff all know about the problem but just said sorry. No offer of discount or refund.
Also on the morning we stripped the bed as we always do and the sheet underneath was stained brown.
