Shared bathroom
Lovely welcome.Kettle in the room.Nice biscuits.Just nice people.Im just concerned for the hosts working too hard.I was working in St Andrews when I was there so it was hellish to commute that far.Also I felt terribly sorry for them having neighbours who kept playing loud music.Also I am a man so I was bound to feel sympathy for the little lady but I tried to feel for her husband too.To be honest I travel mainly to Crete.Ive been in Sudan Egypt Turkey but I struggle terribly with the Muslim religion its so complex but ever so welcoming.Also going that far and working so hard I could of probably slept through anything.Also it would be a lovely place to stay if you were Turkish and not a bit Greek like me seen a funny side.
Well its difficult for me to leave an accurate review because I want to try and help other people rather than just leaving tens every time also moving as I do its just silly as who am I to judge others. Actually if you do travel it is common sense ie practical not to do so and yet for some silly reason I did it this time really only to help the staff.So the area is not terribly uplifting as its on a council estate but that is absolutely not their fault and you might struggle with their culture for lack of a better word I was thinking faith but I am not sure how seriously they take this.If you were thinking of a long stay ie two or three weeks you might find this hard.Also I guess many people only stay a night or two.
Comfortable bed, thoughtful provisions, delightful friendliness of host Ayca, peace and quiet, nice area. All facilities and wonderful places of interest close by.

The hostess is lovely, and she even carried my bag up the stairs for me. (I am elderly). The family dog is huge, beautiful and friendly. I stayed in the single room. There was a jug for making coffee, and a small fridge, and a big TV with Netflix which I enjoyed.
I didn't check all the info properly before my booking, and I mistakenly thought I was booking a place in Edinburgh. My fault. The hostess kindly explained about the buses, and I used my time well on the 70 minute bus trip into Edinburgh each day.
They are a lovely pleasant couple who are trying to let a room out, The bedroom was clean and tidy, bed was comfortable. There is a television at the bottom of the bed where you can watch Netflix.
The shower in the bathroom could definitely do with updating. The black mould around the base of the shower needs removing.

Lovely cosy room with everything I needed. Very comfy bed. Hosts couldn't do enough for me.
Not a fan of shared bathrooms, however, it was straight opposite my room & surprisingly not a problem.
