Great location and price, but not as clean and comfortable as I had expected.
Pros:

We need cheap housing for our last few days in Japan. We loved the location and the fact that it was a studio apartment. The washer was much appreciated.

Cons:

This place is just not presentable. It's run down and uncomfortably small. We wouldn't stay here again due to lack of cleanliness and comfort. I'm still glad we got to experience this type of living while abroad.

Overall I would recommend this stay to anyone. Check in was easy after we found the building! It was affordable and ever
Pros:

I liked that we had access to a whole kitchen if we needed and had streaming services on the tv. The location was quiet and close to everything - okubo station is very close!

Cons:

I thought we had booked the room with the traditional Japanese doors but apparently hadn’t? But that’s only a minor detail. The address lead us to a place on a street corner but it was actually on a side street maybe 30 m away.

Close to stations, clean, comfortable, and safe
Pros:

This property was in an excellent location a short walk to Shinjuku station and even closer to Okubo. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the facilities are perfect for a solo traveller or a couple needing a nice place to stay for their travels in Tokyo!

The fact that it all the amenities we needed, including washing pellets, shampoos, soap etc.

Cons:

The address on Google maps is wrong, it is in the wrong street. Everybody battles to find the place the first time

Pros:

The location is excellent. Several major train and metro stations are within a short walking distance, which made it very convenient to explore the city.

The room size was reasonable. Although it is listed as a quadruple room, it felt more like a regular-sized room suitable for two people. It was not particularly small, but also not very spacious.

The hosts were kind and helpful. When we had trouble using the AC and felt cold, they kindly provided us with a heater. They also offered us an extra towel change as a courtesy.

The accommodation has the basic amenities needed for a comfortable stay.

Cons:

The property is quite difficult to find. We arrived at night and the location shown on Google Maps did not correspond exactly to the building. We eventually found it by walking around the nearby streets.

The stairs can be challenging, especially if you are carrying heavy luggage like we were. It is manageable, but definitely not easy.

Towel changes require an additional payment, and the towels did not dry easily in the room.

The photos online make the accommodation look slightly nicer than it is in reality.

Love the location of the accommodation. Quiet yet still accessible to nearby convenience shops. Very conveniently location to the train station which is only a stop away from Shinjuku. It is also about 10 to 15 mins walk to the Korean town which has a lot of food options.

Cons:

The place is a little old but still maintain really well. The narrow staircase is a challenge as we have quite a big luggage.
