Fantastic location marred by the green ceiling light
Pros:

Location, parking provision, style and decoration.

Cons:

Green ceiling light in room which was too bright and illuminated the room all night.

Pros:

I have stayed many times before and never dissappointed,
Lovely rooms and great food.will stay agian when up north
Staff are so hard working and really nice anf friendly

Breakfast was very good - plenty of choice, well cooked - missed fruit?
A very traditional countryside pub with lovely rooms, comfortable restaurant and cosy bar with lots of wood.
Nice not to have music or gaming
Food and service in the restaurant was excellent, so good we overindulged and ended up with a higher bill than expected...

Pros:

It was right opposite the church in the village where we were going to a funeral so ideally located for what we wanted.

Cons:

The shower didn’t work (wouldn’t turn on) but once I had reported it and the member of staff had come up to check we were given use of the shower in the room next door which happened to be empty.

Difficult to communicate with the hotel as the phone wasn’t answered and voicemails and emails weren’t responded to.

Pros:

Amazing room, with a fabulous bathroom.
Staff were friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was varied and good quality. Loved the cosy fires throughout the pub and restaurant

Cons:

The modern wardrobe wasn’t in keeping with the traditional decor. The carpet in the bedroom needed vacuuming more thoroughly.
Would have expected bathrobes in this standard of accommodation and usb sockets for charging.

Pros:

Very comfortable room with a wonderful view. Excellent bathroom. The food was delicious with interesting and varied menu. The staff are helpful and friendly.

excellent stay ... evening meal was lovely [ off the early bird menu ] !
Pros:

Fantastic pub ,,,hotel ,, restaurant .... + Bargain price ,, for a quality establishment !! @ £79 !! mid week :) lovely location with fantastic views / safe parking // Breakfast was over generous :)
