Beautiful property with CasaOcho rooms looking out at the magnificent oak tree! The staff are exceptional, breakfast was amazing!
I love coffee and/or hot water kettle in room as I am an early riser but the kitchen was accessible for coffee pre 7 am “opening “. Would love in room though.
Beautiful clean and quiet
Everything
Entorno agradable
Everyone was so friendly!! We literally felt super loved and cared. I would definitely go every year from now!
ubicacion , comida
Bruma is one of those rare places that stays with you. From the moment I arrived, I felt the care in every detail—from the architecture that blends into the landscape, to the warmth of the team who made me feel not just welcomed, but seen. I stayed in Casa Ocho, and the experience was beautiful: spacious, serene, and thoughtfully designed.
The onsite dining at Fauna is exceptional, and the wine offerings are truly world-class—especially the Ocho Reserve. There’s a quiet elegance to Bruma, a sense that you’re part of something intimate and alive. Ruth and the team went above and beyond to make my stay personal and unforgettable.
If you’re looking for a retreat that is rooted in both nature and soul, Bruma is it. A gem in Valle.
Staff was great, design is beautiful, bed are comfortable.
There was no on-site person from staff overnight and we were having trouble with the AC. The room was freezing, and we were not able to receive help other than the emergency phone line. For the price paid, there should be an on site person at all times.
The location is beautiful, Casa Montona is situated in a remote corner of the property giving you a very quiet and private stay in the desert. The resturaunt and wine garden on the property are both excellent.
The rooms in the Mercado area don’t give you the quite remote desert experience. You’re literally above the market which can be busy and noisy.
The property lists gym and pool as available, but that turned on not to be the case. They argued this is room specific which doesn't make sense - in reality they have 3 separate resorts in one and their booking is misleading. We argued over this and never came to a resolution (aside from them saying we could pay an extra $50 USD to access to the pool and gym).
Also our room didn't have wifi.
The food was amazing
Very cold room. The sofa was uncomfortable and no bedding
No heater and freezing cold shower
Trip advisor led me to believe there was a gym And spa but that was at a more expensive part of the hotel
I want to gatekeep this place, but it's just too special. The impeccable food, the staff (managed by the wonderful and knowledgeable Ruth), the feeling of being in someone's gorgeous home instead of a corporate hotel -- I hope it never changes!
Excellent breakfast and the staff was wonderful.
Breakfast should be included in the room rate.
Beautiful location and exceptional service. I loved the pool and the restaurants.
The Montana Villa room was lovely. The rooms have a slight rustic feel, while at the same time, the service, food, and wine are superior.
The rug in the room was worn and could be replaced.
The property is beautiful! Rooms are brand new.
There was little to no wifi signal in our room, which is understandable considering all the walls are brick but was disappointing considering the cost of the hotel. No breakfast or coffee is included.
