Golden View Hotel

Schöne Dachterrasse, allerdings wird sie zum Wäschetrocknen genutzt. Nette Frau an der Rzeption die als einzigste rudimentär englisch kann. Netter Blick vom briefmarkgroßen Balkon. Das Zimmer ist ok, relativ neu. Es gibt rudimentärer Zimmerservice. Wifi funktioniert.

Very friendly service and very good place to stay

Good BF, we were out from 3am everyday, we did't have much opperunity enjoy.

The bedroom itself looked very attractive and was clean and the bed was comfortable but the mini refrigerator was not cold enough and the hot water shower was difficult to operate even with the help of the staff. Air condition worked well. Staff although smiling and polite all the time and trying to be helpful, had a very poor command of English. They often nodded but I doubt they really understood. Only the Manager was sufficiently competent in English. The kitchen staff tried to prepare some basic soup for me from their simple roof top kitchen....both times, they were overly salty and not palatable. The kitchen itself looked cluttered and unclean. I had problem making a digital payment to them and finally had to do an expensive bank transfer. The Manager was very helpful when I came down with diarrhoea, making a couple of trips to the pharmacy to get me rehydration salts and other items.

The hotel looks new. The room was spacious and it had all the amenities required (hot water, AC). Breakfast was sufficient but a bit cheap.
The staff was very friendly and helpful regarding booking a cab for the airport or packing breakfast for us.

Walking distance to Aberdeen Bazaar and Central Bus Stayion. Brand new hotel . Food is good. Reception very helpful.
