Comfortable stay in a great location
Pros:

Staff were great and the breakfast was good, they adjustments for vegetarians. Shower was great and the bed comfy. On site parking was a bonus but you can’t use it before check-in time.

Cons:

Restaurant closes at 19:00

The Nikko Beans Hotel was the perfect stay for me.
Pros:

The breakfast offerings were perfect, for me. I really liked that I had the option of cereal and milk, Western style scrambled eggs and bacon and toast or rolls, or a Japanese style breakfast. And the additional possibility of having cereal and milk with either the Western style breakfast or the Japanese style breakfast was great. I also appreciated that I could have some cereal and milk in the evening should I have missed getting dinner in town or at Nikko Beans. What I liked most was meeting and conversing with my host, Iku. He was very professional, accommodating and informative about the things that I should do while in Nikko, and the order and way in which it was best to do them. Iku is as friendly and outgoing and respectful as I am, and this made my stay at Nikko Beans Hotel great.

Cons:

I cannot think of anything that I did not like.

食と睡眠と、いい時間を過ごせました。
Pros:

ご飯がとても美味しかったです。

Loved it.
Pros:

Very welcoming and room very comfortable.

Cons:

With no bus access - lot of walking especially with luggage. Owner of the hotel was so obliging and drove us to bus station on day of departing.

The location was also great — a short drive to the temples and Edo Wonderland, which made sightseeing very easy. Overall

We loved our stay at Nikko Beans Hotel. It’s a minimalist and straightforward hotel, perfect for a comfortable and relaxing stay. There’s a restaurant right beside the hotel, and the food was really nice and convenient.

We stayed for two nights, and the atmosphere was so peaceful a great place to unwind. Overall, it was a pleasant and enjoyable experience, and we would happily stay here again.
