Average Hotel at good location
Pros:

The Hotel is quite nice but looks better from the outside. Breakfast was good. Location is very convenient and wonderful to have a pool. good wifi. staff is helpful.

Cons:

we were not at all given the rooms we booked via booking. rooms were very small and we had trouble with the bed side lamps.
the pool area is quite dirty and there isn't a shower. hence is water is not the cleanest.

All is OK
Pros:

Breakfast good enough, local tastes. Localization - walk distance to reach old town. Walk distance to local exotic market (bazar). Very friendly staff. Will book again.

Pros:

A very nice hotel that is located close to the major sights, but is still quiet. The staff were friendly and helpful, and breakfast was plentiful with a good variety of options. The room was a good size, and the bathroom was well equipped. We specifically looked for a room with a seating area, as we were staying 4 nights and did not want to sit on the bed all the time. The hotel states that all rooms have a seating area but ours had a single upright chair and a stool. We queried this, and were offered an alternative room that had 2 upright chairs, but was smaller, so we declined. For me this does not constitute a seating area. The bed was very hard, uncomfortable for both sitting and sleeping. The hotel gives a sense of not being quite there yet - the information states that there is a restaurant and bar, but these did not yet seem to be functional. There are 2 hotels on the same site - Ark Hotel and Ark Premium Hotel, both of which look very similar, both inside and outside so it was confusing when booking to work out which was which.
