Beware: this hotel does not accept foreign credit cards!
Pros:

Clean. Big room. Big double bed and very comfy. Close to Hidden Grace GC (driving range entry). Cleaning staff very good. Free green tea in lobby. Good wifi. The robot 🤖 for food delivery is weird.

Cons:

1. Reception staff does not speak english. They use a translator app on their mobile phones to comunicate with customers. Most shocking is that NO foreign credit cards (Mastercard/Visa) are accepted! Only chinese credit cards. This was NOT specified at the time of booking. I had big problems to find an ATM in Longgang that accepted my foreign Visa card and to withdraw all in chinese cash the full amount needed for my week's stay. This was a major problem. It is a shame that a french chain like Kyriad dies not accept Visa or Mastercard. On booking.com it even specified: no cash accepted. But the hotel reception asked me the full amount in chinese cash. So beware of this problem and get enough cash RMB before checking in. The only ATM in Longgang/Longcheng that accepts Visa is the Bank of China branch located on Yicui Road north. All other banks do not accept Visa or Mastercard, even if the logo is printed on the ATM
2. Very annoying minor issue is the tv, that starts automatically (at high volume) everytime you put the keycard in the slot entering the room, and with a french idiot advertising their Kyriad foam-memory pillow. Very stupid and very annoying. Moreover Tv network is only 50 boring chinese channels.
3. One morning I woke up without electricity, nothing at all; a neighborhood blackout.
4. The breakfast is of very poor quality. Coffee is bad, choice of food is mostly chinese (soups, noodles, dumplings, boiled veggies), few cereals... very bad breakfast overall.
5. Expensive for the average quality of service.
